I think adding some sort of "auto/regen healing" totem in some common towns would be a great thing. I sometimes find myself coming back from a dungeon/location with low health. I understand there are healing potions, but this could help with dueling other players just for fun.

When done dueling with another player (if you win), health will remain as low as the other opponent hit us for, which sometimes leaves us at just 1-2 hearts. I then need to use health potions to quickly get back to my standard hearts. I also understand health regen is a thing, but as said, a healing totem type of deal would just help us save some money and time getting our hearts back up. Note: I am one to duel my buddies/random people a lot. I also understand there are mages that have abilities to heal, but I think a healing totem would cause no harm, plus there aren't always mages running around in towns healing.

    How would this work?
    - Have one healing totem/station in some common towns
    - Make them have a cool-down each use (standing in/on them)
    - Save us from using potions when duel matches are over

    * Make it simple? A pressure plate with the '/heal' command with a cool-down

    Possible problems with this?
    - I don't see many problems happening with healing totems in towns
    - Please leave your suggestions/solutions in the comments if you think of any problems with this.

Well, instead of a totem, how about a fountain?

The holy water fills you with vitality.

It should heal for about x/1 second. For every 5 levels, add 50, 10 or a 100 more to the base total.

    Both great ideas.
    +1

Though until they add this, if you're level 80 there's a necklace in aldorei that gives 2000% hr.

    even though this isn't 4chan

    >go to grinding spot
    >wait for lots of mobs to spawn
    >bring mobs back to town
    >sit in fountain while grinding
    >profit.gif

Granted, this isn't a big problem, since most cities don't have grinding spots that close, but it would make the lower levels super easy, especially around Detlas. If using weapons was disabled when healing, it would be fine.

Otherwise, it's just a bit op and removes the need for potions when close to cities.

Perhaps you get -damage% when in the fountains.
Also all the levels below 30 is easy leveling.
And who needs to drag them back to town? You'd get more profit just killing them at the grinding spot then going back to town to heal.

I know, that's why it's a small problem. Thing is though, low-levels die faster than high-levels do, giving them incentive to stay in a safe zone.

    I see what you mean.

Maybe a fix around this would be totems don't work if you take or do damage to a player and/or neutral and hostile mob(s).
They would work again in 'x' amount of seconds of being out of 'combat' with the player/mob.

Wow, I was thinking of making this exact suggestion!
Anyways, 110% yes this. There is literally no reason at all to not have a place to heal in passive areas such as towns. Usually what I find is that I just afk for a bit for auto-regen, which is pretty baseless and kind of time wasting. Most RPGs have this element anyways so Wynncraft has no reason to be an exception.

Edit: an easy way to combat abusing it would just be so that the totem doesn't activate if there are hostile mobs in the vicinity. This way you can't abuse it to farm or something by luring in mobs. Aside from that, there are really not many good farming places immediately near the heart of a city (even demon cave is like half a minute from rodoroc and that's pretty annoying if you're just gonna go back to heal) so it shouldn't be a huge issue.

+1 support. I hope this gets more attention o>

+1 Support! Really good suggestion, but I think that it would be better if the totem disable when there are mobs near like a bed!

It also shouldn't effect you if you are dueling, +1 though

Its annoying as hell being on a warrior or something missing all of my health and i often just kill myself at a city to get my health back,

I like the idea. Switching armor around or when changing skill points can cause you to be low health like 500/4000 just as an example.

I guess guards are there? and if you wait for lot of mobs then you can just damage them in group...
