As we all know, There is a tiny issue with profile posts... You have a pretty small limit as to how many letters you could use in one post, So my idea is basically...
PROFILE THREADS
Giving the forum user the ability to create a "Profile Thread" where he would be able to write as much as he wants, With the ability to assign pictures in, It would work just like a normal thread, But would be view able only through the user's profile.

Why is this a good idea?

-People who are leaving Wynn without making a giveaway could make something "Special" like a "Thank you" or "Good bye" letters without having everyone else to have to see them.

-Selective viewing (Only people who are allowed view your profile could see the thread).

-Allowing people to make blogs/random stuff without breaking the rules or posting content that might be useless to some other members in the main sections.

Now I know that this idea is highly unlikely/has a 0% chance of actually being done, But I just wanted to throw the idea out there, See if anyone else thinks this kind of thing would be useful.

So, essentially TwitLonger but for the forums.

I'm not sure that this is possible, but this plugin would enable you to easily link to a Pastebin or similar site, plus you can use pictures.

It seems like the only way to have longer profile posts is to change the character limit, which we definitely don't need.

I tried doing that (you can check my info tab if you want) but I realized that you can't actually directly link specifically that tab, it'll always take you to the main profile. Pissed me off.

why would xenforo devs look at this website? im sure theyd notice the suggestions section is more for the server and not their website design

 

Who's the coder for the website and in charge of all the plugins? Elementals. Is elementals on the xenforo forums? Maybe, but probably not.

 

I cannot express how much I want this to be implemented.
