Nerfing The Corrupter Of Worlds.

I have 27/4 mr but still i have low elemental defense and 8k hp

 

There is kind of a difference here between his melee and multihit - Once the spell lands you're going to take every one of those hits even if you get away from him. 10 hits at 100% or 80% of his damage can easily pick off a player not at full health, and with his rapid hits you're likely to be down some when he gets you.

 

If he was too hard he wouldn't be like he is now. I tested him with a crappy neutral build on every class and was able to defeat him alone, with some effort. I recall showing this on a stream one time...

All classes have the tools necessary to get away from his attacks, and those piddly 100-200 damage strikes give you plenty of time to react; it can't outpace potions of the proper level or higher, meaning you can guzzle health potions if you're that desperate for mana to use almost ANY spell to get away.

Warriors can use Bash to keep him at bay, or literally any of their other spells to escape. Charge not only hits an elemental advantage, but inflicts knockback enough for you to get away. Uppercut provides a similar respite, while War Scream will get him far away from you, especially with a slower weapon.

If he can't outpace potions, he certainly can't outpace Heal. Teleport is probably one of the best ways of getting away given its blinding effect, and Ice Snake is equally as effective.

Assassins can either use Spin to blind him for a good while, or use Multihits to just knock him away even better than Uppercut does. Or, you could just Vanish to get away. Especially given the little boost from it, it can even be used to avoid his Multihits spell.

Archers probably have the least options for getting away, but they also have an elemental advantage with all of their spells. Arrow Storm is the cheapest option, given how much knock back each arrow inflicts, or you can use Arrow Shield to give yourself a good 3-5 seconds worth of downtime.

All classes can deal with it, given enough skill. It needs no changes.

Say again that its Multihits will kill you from full health?

 

I said if you're not at full health it can easily finish you off. Like if you're at half or something.

 

I was unaware that they slow down.

But I do think it's a bit more than just range. Idk, you know better than I, but the way I see it is it's garenteed hits. Normal Melee knock you back a bit, giving you a second before next attack to counter. Multihit means if he hits you with it, you 100% get hit by all of the hits. I think that's more than just adding range.

But also it's my personal problem that all my mana regen comes from my helmet so RIP

He can BY FAR outpace potions. Heal too, once mana runs out

 

You would have to be lower than half health on average to be killed by it.

A level 65 potion will heal more than the corrupter can damage you in the same amount of time, if you aren't an archer. And if you are an archer, just use arrow shield, it's basically a win button at this point.

 

Well my archer has consistently had about half of the average health for it's level to begin with so that probably helped it get squished.

It gets a lot easier with 2 tanks at ur level lmao, I was stocked with pots

 

I'm a mage. I looked into heal potions, but they are all really expensive (I am broke) but I find a bunch in chests all the time. Just not that high level

 

Rather than nerfing a boss for your own benefit and pissing off everyone who likes actual difficulty, how bout you just get carried through it by a level 101 mage.

multihit could knock the corrupter away, same for arrow shield and war scream, also ice snake can freeze him..

They are a few EB a piece at higher levels, if I remember correctly

 

You get around twi stacks of le from quests if I remember correctly and if you are grinding and selling loot you should have more
