To be honest, I'm surprised I didn't do this sooner. But since I highly doubt anyone with the ability to actually implement these changes actually read these things, I'm not surprised at the same time.

So, okay, I've been playing Wynncraft for about 3 1/2 years now; and due to my current position, I probably ain't gonna stop any time soon. Since I'm here anyway, I might as well get some stuff off my chest. There is a massive flaw in Wynn's class system. One that ultimately makes the game a hell of a lot less enjoyable than it could be. When it comes to classes, Wynncraft HATES commitment. For the most part, the classes and skills are super vague and often mix several different roles into one class (like Mage being DPS, support, AND a cleric) for the sake of not having more than 4 classes and so the players can still have some choice in playstyle. But to be honest, all it really does is just limit the overall functionality of each class. For example, no matter the game, I enjoy playing tanks. So naturally, I gravitate towards Warrior because it has the highest Defense. However, there are no skills that really complement it being a tank aside from the CC that every other class has anyway so why does it even matter.

So what's my point? Creating more distinct roles and skillsets for each class will, in my opinion, create a better overall gameplay experience.

I believe the first step to doing that is giving each class its own unique passive abilities. Passives can not only give gameplay more depth, but also help characterize the classes for specific roles and jobs in a party.

Each class gets 2 passives. You have both from the start. I tried not to make them too OP together, but it's work in progress, so feel free to make suggestions and expect changes.

    WARRIOR
    - Perseverance: When your health falls below 20%, you gain an additional 30% Defense and 20% damage.
    - Stalwart: Increased Health Regen. Also receives increased healing from potions and Heal.

    ASSASSIN
    - Killing Strike: When an enemy is below 25% health, Assassin's attacks will become 50% more powerful.
    - Swift Step: Increased walk speed (Speed I) and jump height (Jump Boost II) and sprint bar drains slower.

    ARCHER
    - Twin Shot: Every 3rd basic attack will shoot 2 arrows instead of 1.
    - Piercing Shot: Chance for attacks to pierce the enemy's armor, decreasing its defense for a short time.

    MAGE
    - Arcane Energy: Increased Mana Regen. Also receives increased Mana from potions.
    - Arcane Mastery: When a spell successfully hits an enemy, there's a chance a portion of the Mana lost will be regained.

If you look in the title, then you see this is only Part 1. I have a lot more than this, but I'd rather not bombard you all with a wall of text that'd make Trump proud. So I'm splitting this into several parts.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed my mad ramblings!

This is a good suggestion, yet it still lacks detail. When exactly do you choose your passive ability? Is it right at the start, or after completing a quest? Something else, maybe?

As for reskins, would they have different abilities? Guessing no, but what about names?

What about further progression? Could there be small upgrades as time goes on, similar to spells? Or maybe you could change your skill for a small fee? What about a skill tree, a popular feature in other MMORPGs? Perhaps even just one or two more options.

As a start, it's good; but it could use more meat to it.

But first maybe nerf some things because mage does not need more mana at all.

    broken tbh

you should change these, make something a bit more original

other than that it's a pretty decent suggestion, even tho it kinda lacks detail

I like this, but I have to agree with @captainganon on when we choose the passives.

There's not really much else to explain. You have both passives as soon as you make your character. No upgrades, no skill tree. Class reskins are secondary and rather irrelevant in terms of the suggestion as a whole, but honestly I can see the names working for the class reskins too. If it came down to it, I'll make new names for them too.
Assassin is literally the least mobile class. Which just makes absolutely no sense to me.

Also, why reinvent the wheel? I'm not out to be original. I'm out to make effective classes.
I disagree with you there. Mage is literally a spell spammer class. It needs way to restore Mana somewhat effectively so it can sustain DPS.

UPDATE: Made an edit about when you receive/acquire the passives.

That's the thing, mage does that really well already. It might end up getting a bit OP.
Also for @captainganon's questions perhaps make a %per level for all of the passives?
Because level 100 regen at level 1 is OP, but level 1 regen at level 100 is useless.
    Progression.

As much as I like this idea as an assassin-main, I think the problem with it is that Grade 3's vanish would be heavily nerfed. The jump boost with it would become absolutely useless as you'd already have it, and the Speed would only add an extra 40% instead of the normal 60%. If this was changed so it was sort of a base stat sort of thing, and vanish would work by 'adding' the stats (So the Jump Boost 2 becomes a Jump Boost 4, essentially, and Speed 3 becomes Speed 4) then I would love to see it implemented.

The next part is gonna be changes to spells, and don't worry, Vanishes buffs will be getting a nerf

And I'm taking Heal off Mage for a dedicated Cleric class but don't tell anyone shhhh

Oh WHOOPS I misread your message. My bad. The way I see Vanish working is that it will stack with the Speed and Jump Boost already there as if it was a base stat. The passive would essentially be like if you were wearing boots that gave Walk Speed and a Jump Boost. But like I said, Vanish might have to be nerfed just a tiny bit (or not, still working out those kinks).

I personally think the damage/defence buff Vanish gets doesn't do anything, so I wouldn't mind losing those to get Speed 4 and Jump Boost 4.
