Let's Talk About Grinding In Wynncraft.

I'd love if there was something like Seavale Reef but with xp

 

We are working on ways to make grinding better, but we are slow unfortunately. This isn't because we are slow to work it's more of a way to update and how it is reflective of how the game works.
We update things in bulk to give that huge pay off and enjoyment, just like managing to finally get to use that armor.
The way Wynn is designed is for long term commitment and our updates reflect that.

But again, we're working on adding new endgame stuff, don't you worry.
I will leave the thread open for discussion.

Its been almost a month and I still havent gotten the 14 keys to run a single fucking dungeon


at least add like.. a place where you can buy BROKEN keys... just so that it doesnt completely remove the effort to get keys

 

If its broken keys you need, I got an AMAZING grind spot for all types of them, just send me a convo if you want to know where. NII runes are my issue.

 

I usually get my Nii runes around uhhh dodegars hut? XD this house thing in the light forest XD i just wait on top of the house or run around a bit and then after a while they usually start spawning

I don't have the problem of dungeon keys.

Cause I was the ass who would buy like a stack of each key before they changed it.
(It was a nightmare exchanging them though)

Also, I don't exactly get how one can sort be just simply expecting for the reward in each quest. I do get how there's sort of not enough ways to level up.

I mean, I like grinding and doing quests.
I only really do dungeons for the reward though.

Boss alters are cool for endgame, but they get boring after a couple times. Maybe if they add more of them that could help.

 

i guess one of the things they are working on are swarms
if it wasnt bc they were laggy, they would have been nice

 

But then what happens after you finish the new ones? We need something that is replayable

 

Is it that they aren't fun and tough enough to be memorable?

 

Tbh i have beaten up the wybel a lot of times by now and i still really enjoy fighting it/him soooo i really think that the wybel is replayable as long as you dont have a build that makes him so easy that you can kill him with melee only xD (although i am sure after you killed him over 100 times even that will get boring)

 

Well, yes, they can be, but I don't know how to justify doing the same thing over and over as fun. The first time they are always fun. Some sort of randomizer would be cool, but I'm not a coder for wynncraft and that most likely is immpossible. Plus you have to grind for some boss alters, which again is a red flag to me.

 

The boss altars are fun, I think the main issue is that there's not that many for higher levels. A few more boss altars in the level 85-100 range, with one that's even tougher than the orange wybel would be amazing. If the rewards are decent for endgame, people will enjoy the challenge of a few more unique bosses.

 

That will unfortunately require some better spells. At the moment, our repertoire of...I think 23? It just doesn't cut it. I could do more if I had more to work with.

 

What do you mean by better spells? New spells, or increasing the power of old ones?
