So this wand "bends light into its raw components." If that's the case, then it should be a fire, water and earth wand, not a fire, water and thunder wand.

    My reasoning:
The name is obviously an anagram of "primary." The primary colors for pigment are yellow, red and blue, but the primary colors of light are green, red and blue.

Here's a picture, so people know what I'm talking about. (It's a relatively new item.)

Depends if you want the primary colours of light or of pigment.
I personally prefer fire/water/thunder due to the lack of wands for that combination.

    But it bends light tho...
If they changed the lore it would be fine too. "A colorful wand some wizard guy made a long time ago" would suffice.

I just realized that this could be a justification that Wynn bends light differently than the real world. Perhaps the light of Gavel is only prone to the decay due to the strange addition of Thunder, which is linked to darkness, instead of Earth.

Wait lights main pigments are RGB? I thought people just did that as a weird computer quirk.
EDIT: It's not, it's just that we perceive RGB with our cones, and some people have an extra Y, but I don't believe that, physically, lights primary colors are RGB but RYB,

    Someone please correct me

Alrighty than. I categorised your quote in 4 pieces. To make it easier for me to say some shizzle about it.

    1. Well... whenever people talk about light, they generally mean the light you can see. No infrared, gamma radiation or anything like that. so I think that it's safe to assume we can talk about Red Green Blue for the light. But you're right, that's just what we percieve with our cones.

    2. An extra cone for yellow would be pretty useless with the way that light works. Since you can already see yellow with green + red. So yeah, I doubt it as well.

    3. I don't really understand this sentence. I'm assuming that you ment
(Not wanting to be a grammar nazi or anything here, it's just that...
This way the sentence means something entirely different.)

If you did mean it as 'aren't', I disagree though.
    The way I'm thought it.
(Which is by watching a 50 min. documentary, 6 months ago. So don't take anything I say as 'well-educated' or anything.;p )

    Is that red green blue works additive;
When you mix them all you get white

    Whilst red yellow blue works is subtractrive;
When you add them all together. (in certain amounts, idk the amounts. if you add them all together they make you see brown.) you get black. (Or at least something close to it. I'm not 100% certain if it's actually practically possible to get something that looks 100% black.)

    But as you said yourself
perceive being the key word here.
Let's not forget that light in itself doesn't really have a color/really is a color, that's just what our brain makes out of it. perception
    So, yeah.
I feel like I've said enough here.
50 min. documentary 6 months ago doesn't give me the right to tell other people I'm right.
    google says it's RGB
    [IMG]
    As for the thread itself:
They say it's crafted from glass. Which uses red, yellow and blue, the primary colors for pigment, for coloring.
(For as far as I'm aware at least.)

And the most raw components of light are currently unknown. But the part of light that makes us percieve it as a certain color is the wavelength.
Which generally isn't considered a component. So that shouldn't effect the coloring, either.

    Having said that....

CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN THE NEUTRAL DAMAGE TO ME?
THEY DIDN'T PAINT THE GLASS ENTIRELY OR SOMETHING?
    FLIPPIN' AUTISTIC NPCS.

    Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder.
Meaning that it's something that interferes with the normal neurodevelopment
Not painting a piece of glass entirely WHEN YOU'RE [CENSORED] SUPPOSED TO, could be caused by an abnormality in your neurons.

and I'm an autistic person myself.
So I'm priveledged to be able to say this.
Like how gay people can call people gay.
How stupid people can call people stupid.
And how rich people can call people rich

    So yeah...

    1. Yes, I was talking about visible light.

    2. That comment was just talking about the fact that while most of us humans have RGB cones, some people have an extra type that detects yellow.

    3. I haven't seen this documentary :-p
