    So Grian was asked in the stream showcasing Corkus, will there be more classes. His answer was a bit vague but it seemed like the idea of more classes, had been an addition they at some point wanted to implement.

    Please if you think the idea is bad, tell me why, and if you think the idea is good tell me why.
    It is an idea, not that it should be this way, if wynncraft want's to add more classes, they need to know how we want more classes, how many, and in which way they should be added.
    We are the community, we are supposed to give wynncraft feedback, so they know what we want wynncraft to be.

    DISCLAIMER!
    This is a suggestion to how new classes could be implemented, not how they should be.
    In addition, I personally don't think wynncraft needs more classes, but if they do add more classes, I would like it to have a system like this one.
    My examples also show, 16 classes in total (or 12 additional classes) and again i don't mean there should be that many more classes.

    There is already many ideas for new classes on the "general suggestions" but I have not seen many, which have a good idea, on how to implement them properly. (most just suggest, that you add a hole new weapon type, which would take ridiculus amount of time to add so many items, and fill up more of your inventory space (as explained further down))

    Therefore, my idea is there will still only be 4 classes, or rather 4 categories of classes. These categories would be: Warriors, Archers, Mages and Assassins, the names for the 4 classes already in the game.

    but the important thing is that all classes under the warrior category only uses spears, and all archers only uses bows, etc. because then inventories won’t be filled up with 5 or more different weapons, 4 types of armor, 3 different accessories and powders + emeralds.
    The reason I feel this is so important, is I played a little on Zentrella and a bit of Elder scrolls online. And in those games your inventory gets filled up with a lot more weapons, I think Zentrella is especially doing this, badly because you can only use, one of the 7 weapons dropped.
    And well it just gets very annoying.

    Now I talked about there being the categories of classes, and then having classes within them. I can try to explain what I mean. Here I have a showcase on how it could function.

    Knight
    Lancer
    Paladin
    Brute
    Hunter
    SharpShooter
    Ranger
    (i can't think of more Archer names)
    Sorcerer
    Wizard
    Shaman
    Alchemist
    Ninja
    BladeDancer
    Reaper
    NightCrawler

    Of course this doesn’t need to be the names (well I couldn’t come up with 4 names for the archer category), and there doesn’t need to be 4 classes in each category, but i think this is a good way of dividing the classes, and also to show new players which classes are alike, and which are completely different. I also think new players will have an easier time finding out what class they would want to be, if the classes were placed in categories.

    You may wonder how these classes would be different from each other, within each category. I am going to use the "Mages" category as an example. (cause that’s the one I have thought about the most)

    to make all Mages more alike, each spell would be similar, for an example all the first spells of mages, is a type of healing or health boost.

    - Sorcerer - I think Sorcerer should be almost (if not precisely) the exact same as how mage is now.

    - Wizard - I have thought of Wizard as being more of an area control type of class, for an example its first spell (healing spell) would be like the current Assassins smoke bomb, except this heals instead of damage. In addition, its movement spell could be something, which allows it to move faster in a specific area.

    - Shaman - The way I think of Shaman, is a type of class, which "sacrifices itself" most of its spells would cause it to take damage, now you may think what about the healing spell? I think Shamans "healing spell" should be something that damages a target area in front of it, that gives Shaman a % of HP for the amount of damage it caused, also known as "life steal", though if it fails to hit something Shaman takes damage. Of course, its spells should be very powerful, now that they cause itself damage by using them.

    - Alchemist - Alchemist should be a class, which focuses mostly on boosting itself, with spells, for an example the healing spells, does not heal it, but rather buffs its healthregen, or give it additional healthregen. Its movement spell, could give it a movement buff for a while, like how archer gets speed 3 after reaching level 26 when using escape. And its defensive/utility spell (like Mage's Ice snake, Assassin’s Smoke bomb, Archer's Arrow shield and Warrior's War scream) should be its most important spell, and give it boosts for around 15-30 seconds, giving it a lot more damage and a lot more defense, but cost a lot of mana.

    And, the other class categories, should be likewise, for an example some assassins could do an extreme amount of damage, but have way less movement ability, than the others, and opposite some having a lot of movement but no damage.

    I forgot to mention (when I first posted this), that the differences in the classes, could be a split later on. Like a quest or at a certain level you are asked what class you want to be, so that mage splits into: Sorcerer, Wizard, Shaman and Alchemist (again this is just example names, not that it should 100% be this way). I would say this should either be with each spell upgrade, so that you can choose what spell upgrade you want, for an example: Mages healing spell upgrades at level 16, when you hit that level you can choose between some options. This could be something like, more healing when used, bigger healing area, and potion effect clearing, (or any other spell upgrade that fits with mages’ healing spell.)

    It could also be a complete change in each spell at a certain level, like level 66-67 since that is the last spell upgrade. Furthermore, it is around level 66-67 that the more serious quests begin, like ToL, Bob and wynnexcavation site D. This could be a quest, which at the end, asks you what you want to specialize in, for the rest of your adventure. Though I would prefer the first idea, since it is simpler, and this one would make you have to change your playstyle, according to the new change you have gone through.

    And again, as a last note, my example was with 16 classes, but i don't think it will be easy, to design that many. And i don't think there should be that many.
    (and especially because, i used mages as an example, and to be honest i think it is the easiest to make diverse. Where as warriors could be way more difficult, if you made an offensive warrior it would most likely, end up being close to assassins)

    I mean more like to make the classes more diverse, but still keep them in categories, so you can see which classes are alike, and different.

    And holy shet that was a quick reply dindt expect that.

    Well im kinda anoyed with some of the posts here, since many of them have what seems to be good ideas, but they rarely explain them in detail. so i decided to do my try at making a post, which explained the functions of the idea. (especially cause i have programmed stuff before( not complicated stuff) and then people will ask can you make "this" and give little to no explanation of how it works)

    Sorry for the spelling mistakes, i Think there is still some in there. Im danish, and the spellchekker rather than guessing that it is english, tried to fix the words to Danish. i tried to change my keyboard setting when i wrote it. but it dindt change the spellchekker. i know there is still mistakes scattered around in there that i havent fixed yet aswell.

    btw cant reply properly, cause i dont have 10 threads yet which you need for links and stuff...

    No this idea is very bad this brings to why I don't like some RPGS because its OVERCOMPLICATED people will always be asking "whats the best class" and Class fixes will probably happen all the time. I think it would be great to add Maybe 1/2 more classes anymore makes it feel overcomplicated and people come because the game is challenging but simple at the same time. You don't need to pick through 16 Classes so please never do this because I don't wan't to open up my screen and get 16 Classes.

    I dindt mean that it should be 16, could be anywhere from 8-64, but rather to put this system into play if new classes where introduced, so that new players would have an easier time categorising the classes and which to pick. Instead of having new players ask what is the best class, (which i have allreaddy gotten asked many times when i have entoduced people to wynncraft, even though there is only 4 at the moment)

    I also have an idea of how to improve the reskins, that i dindt talk about.

    For vip you will get 4 skin points(vip+ 8 and Hero 16), which you can use to purchase the reskins with.
    You can purchase 1 reskin with 1 point. meaning that if there was 16 classes you would need hero to get all 16 reskins.

    if there was 12 classes you could do 3, 6, 12 points for the diffrent purchases.

    you may also wonder how all of these new classes could fit into the carector limit of 10(atm)
    i would suggest having 7 (unless mojang says that every player have to be able to have 1 of each class, without purchasing from the store, then about 13-17 slots to start with depending on how many more classes, was added) and for vip you get 3 more slots, vip+ 6 and hero 12.
    an additon that would be nice to the store even without more classes, would be to purchase 1 extra charecterslot for 7-10 euro and have it cap at somewhere around 7 extraslots (+ the ones from buying ranks)

    But then there is the naming problem, i would suggest, that the names would have added descriptive words, like: Dark, Light, Strong, Raging, Powerfull etc...
    So this could look like: Strong Knight
    or: Dark Sorcerer
    perhaps: Majestic BladeDancer

    And this post was my answer, to simplify more classes.

    I have never played destiny, but i would guess yes. In the Elder Scrolls Online, you get to pick what upgrade you want to your spells, instead of having each spell predetermained from the start. But in all practicallity there is only 4 types of classes to start with.

    (I also added some more text to the text wall, to explain this idea)

    Bowman is kinda boring, i also thought of Crossbowman, but again they seem a bit boring. Plus some of the skins are bows, and some are crossbows. And one of the bow-skins you can get in the crates, resemple a cannon of sorts.

    idk, i also kind of want to keep the fact, that there is one that is not filled out, to show that this is just an idea of how it could be. Not a fixed and finished idea. And that little thing about not all archer names being filled out, kinda shows that.
