Fire Is Too Op!

    I've recently began noticing something. When you walk into fire, in, say, Rodoroc, the fire does regular vanilla damage. This is broken. 93hp = 7 hearts. 8000hp = about 20 hearts, meaning, that when you are about lvl9, fire will do about 8hp per tick. When you are about lvl80, the fire does about 400hp per tick. This is BS. For those of you saying that lvls 1-30 would get 1-shot if they where to change this, they wont. There isnt fire in any low lvl places. So, what im suggesting, is that fire does dmg depending on your lvl and fire defence. Right now, low lvl players are at a h*ll of an advantage, because 1 heart is way less hp to them. All im suggesting is that you change the fire dmg.

    It isn't vanilla, it's actually a % of the custom numerical health, not your vanilla hearts. The "true" health is the numbers, the hearts are just a visual indicator.

    because it's resistance to Fire elemental damage, not actual MC fire.

    Elemental defenses are meant to deal with damage from mobs or other players, not other damage such as fall damage or environmental damage.

    It would give advantages to specific element. Fire defense good against actual lava/fire would make fire defense really good, thus giving it a kind of unfair advantage
    Say you want to give other elements some special defense:
    Air: fall damage
    Water: drowning
    ect...
    Doesn't really work and make fire defense clearly better

    As a mage ( *people shouting "UGH"*) I just jump into pools or rivers of lava just to get around. Although I do feel for other classes that need to deal with the insane amount of damage fire does, and with potions being left out for loot runs etc. They should reduce the damage regular environment fire does. If a fire demon soul sucking hell creature is supposedly shooting fire balls at me (cause of the limits of minecraft it's just simple items and armour stands, but that's not the point) and fire defence should reduce that fiery damage.. then it should also reduce the damage for lava swimming for example.

    You guys did a good job bringing the pros and cons of this suggestive addition: isn't it obvious it should reduce actual fire too?. But fire will be too op you say!.
    So, I think adding small additions to each elemental skill should give a nice FOF (Field Of Fairness) to everyone.

    Strength (EARTH) - Less knockback, Enemies find it harder to locate the player from close (disguise and be one with the land).

    Dexterity (THUNDER) - Get a small speed boost after casting an attack spell, Longer spring bar (leap around with the power of the lightning).

    Intelligence (WATER) - While in water your spell damage shall rise like the sea, Faster underwater and can breath longer (water wraps you in its' comfort force).

    Defence (FIRE) - Fire damage does less damage, have a chance of putting mobs on fire; dealing extra damage (a flaming friend, helping burning out the target).

    Agility (AIR) - Fall damage decreases, walk faster and jump better (the wind pushes you to your limits, and beyond).

    This is just thoughts I'm having imagining what it will be to be wrapped around the air or be made out of stone in the wynn universe. Probably needs polishing but here is for you to enjoy.

    but as this addition won't likely to be added to the latest, hottest and hyped update of wynn, I think the % of fire damage should be decreased as it's really high for high level players.

    yeah but horses exist... jump off a cliff on a horse, you take no damage, your horse somehow doesnt die, and everyone is happy :D

    well archer has escape which takes no fall damage, with mage you can jump off then near the bottom tp spam which reduces dmg i think warrior's charge takes no dmg i think idk and assassin can... well.......................

    Intelligence - This is the opposite of what this does
    Fire - Okay
    Air - Just the fall damage possibly?


    My personal ideas

    Strength - Less Knockback
    Dexterity - Longer Sprint Bar
    Intelligence - Mana Cost (As it currently is ingame).
    Defense - Less environmental fire damage
    Agility - Less Fall Damage
    You mean... like what intelligence does?
    With the overpowered in spell damage water builds that decreases mana cost?
    Where other elements give nothing?

    Doing a new thing for each stat would justify the mana cost decrease that comes with intelligence.

    The other elements do give you a buff in their own element and help you as follows:
    Fire - decreases overall received damage
    Air - increases chance to receive no damage
    Thunder - increases the chance to deal a critical
    Earth - increases overall damage

    Fire shouldn't actually light mobs on fire as it also does a % of their max hp, this would easily kill bosses

    pretty sure that person is talking about fire as in the element not as in the actual fire on the ground XD because the way you kill that boss is toss him into a lava pit

    If they will actually debuff natural environment fire then I think it should be pretty fair (more like fire particles that will work like poison than actual fire)
