Quest Remove The Slime Scooper

We can't, as I mentioned people might not be able to get it anymore because fixquests might not work.

In all seriousness though, would it be possible to do something with the slime scooper after the code revamp, if fixquests is coded to work better?

 

Yeah, that's one of my points; even if it is incorporated later in the future, most people would not be able to do the quest because they have lost it. Is there someway where the item can just get removed from everyone's inventory who have already done the quest and also make the NPC at the end collect the slime scooper for people doing the quest in the future?

 

I tried doing this once, then I got yelled at to put it back in. So, I don't really know. I guess there's SOME plan for it, but heck if I know what that plan is.

 

Oh, so it was supposed to removed. I think at this point though since /fixquests doesn't work sometimes and people have thrown it away most people wont be able to do the new quest if the slime scooper was ever put into one. Maybe Salted or whoever yelled at you might change their mind then.

True, but it still doesn't change the fact that people would have difficulty doing the quest bc /fixquests doesn't work for some people. It would still be more convenient over all because a) the content team doesn't have to work around annoyingly shoehorning the item in making a future quest b) Saves some people from the burden of not being able to do the quest who have lost the item c) Frees people from having to worry about another useless quest item. I highly doubt the slime scooper will be used in the next update, and it's just bad game design and an over complication to try to incorporate it into a level 80-100 quest.

Most people just glitch out their quest items as I've mentioned b4. Just bc /fixquests works for you 100% of the time doesn't mean it works for other players nor does it make fair that people who've lost the item shouldn't be able to do a new quest.

 

All this would be solved if we had a quest item bank.

 

Whatever plan it is I hope it comes soon.

 

actually only about 1% of people glitch out quest items
if you want proof go online and ask some random people (not the popular people who are always at deltas, or camp the forums)
or look on the forums and see how many threads their are about people asking about a quest item ban, want to know why their asking because their not glitching them out

 

Ok, I don't have a stastic per se, but it's common knowledge that most people glitch out their items bc nobody wants quest items taking up their inventory space. And I have heard plenty people complaining about quest items b4. This is the only thread at least in the General Suggestions/Feedback that talks about removing a specific quest item. Other threads that touch upon this subject propose separate banks or inventories for quest items. If you want further proof just scroll through the threads about quest item banks or pics of people's bank and see how many have all their quest items.

I was talking about if the slime scooper was to be implemented, not the gemstone dust. The areas planned for the next updates are in the 80-100 range.
