The thing I highly dislike is the "set everyone to lvl 50" idea. I shouldn't be penalized for getting to a higher lvl, now should I? I have an ideas in mind instead of this:

Make 5 zones in a game. Each zone conquered is a point added to a team's score. Each zone accommodates players of different lvl ranges (1-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, and 80-101). The only con to this would be playerrs being spread too far (if not many people play) and high lvl zone clustering.

I like it, but the equalizing method is... not going to work. with the limited amount of space we have for powders, quest items, and legendaries we don't really have room to also save gear for lower levels. If I'm level 76 and I want to play comp, I would need gear for level 50. I'm not going to keep that around. Now I've got to go farm in level 50 areas to get gear for that level. It's going to take awhile, because I also want to get gear good enough that I can compete with others who are actually around level 50. So I go play some games. Now I want to go back to PvE, but I don't want to farm for gear every time I want to comp. So I need a place to store my lvl 50 gear. Where? My bank/bank classes are full of powders, quest items, stuff I will need later, legendaries, and scrolls. I need my inventory to collect loot.

So what I propose is that instead of players bringing their own gear, damage is just equalized. In my previois example, say I have some thing that is average for level 76. It's now average for level 50. If it's a high quality level 76 weapon, it's high quality for level 50. Same for armor. Identifications would be unchanged, as we don't want to nerf yyour gear too hard.

Or even better, have PvP levels every 10 PvE levels. So A level 76 would be grouped with other players in the 70s, a level 52 would be grouped with players in the 50s, etc. There's not too much variance over ten levels, so there would be a good amount of equality while still giving a broad enough range that you aren't waiting forever to find a match.

As I said, I like the idea of this format as the nether is basically a place bored high level players go to chat with each other and kill lower levels. I think there should be rewards though, maybe some experience, emeralds, or some gear? I don't know, but there should be motivation for playing because the nether gives you nothing.
