New Class Idea: Tinkerer/engineer

So I was kinda bored, so I created a new class idea. Ask any questions in the comments, and try not to hate to much. Also, before you say that this doesn't fit the medieval theme of Wynncraft, just go to Llevigar. Feedback is always appreciated :D

Tinkerer/Engineer: Base weapon is hammer(reskinned iron axe)
Regular attack: melee


Spell 1: Build Turret
R-L-R
(It's a dispenser/dropper)
Tier 1:
8 mana
After 3 seconds, build a stationary turret that shoots mobs. Cannot build more than one at a time, and despawns after 10 seconds. Gets more powerfull as the player levels up. It has a range of 10 blocks

Tier 2:
8 mana
Turret shoots faster and has a longer range(+3 blocks).

Tier 3:
8 mana
+Explosive Projectiles, Arrows shot from the turret explode on impact, knocking mobs away.

Spell 2: Mine
R-R-R
Tier 1:
4 mana
Place a mine at your feet that explodes after 3 seconds, knocking back and dealing earth damage to mobs. It also pushes back players, but deals no damage to them, making it's main use as a mobility spell and for clearing out large groups of mobs.

Tier 2:
4 mana
Mine explodes after 2 seconds, and pushes players farther back.
+Fling Mine, Mine shoots out at the direction you are facing, going out about 5 blocks. The countdown to explode does not start until it hits the ground.

Tier 3:
Mine does more damage to mobs.
+Cluster Bomb, mine explodes into 4 other smaller mines that go out in opposite directions that explode on contact with the ground.

Spell 3: Shock
R-L-L
Tier 1
6 mana
You send an electric shock through mobs in a 3 block radius of you, stunning them for 0.5 seconds and dealing lightning damage.

Tier 2:
6 mana
Shocks now last for 1 second.

Tier 3:
8 mana
+Energize, All players in the radius of shock gain +20% Strength for 1 minute

Spell 4: Mechanical Armor
R-R-L
Tier 1:
6 mana
You gain +30% resistance and strength for 20 seconds, but you also get slowness 2.

Tier 2:
6 mana
You now gain +40% resistance and strength

Tier 3:
5 mana
+Efficient Armor, you now only get slowness 1 instead of 2.

 

I like the concept of it but the third spell needs a change. The third spell is meant as a spell mainly for damage.


(It's a ehhh, until third spell is changed)

i liked it,but wynncraft doesnt have so much textures to use,cuz probably they add new weapons in corkus uipdate

Thanks for the feedback. I understand that textures will always be an issue, but if they do add new weapons in the corkus update, I doubt they will be completely new textures unless they change the texture pack entirely again.

 

Or you can look at the history behind Corkus.

 

One thing, we need to know what element each spell is. Like Shock has lightning damage or something. :P
(You don't have to, I'm just making it look more detailed and fancy)

Just saying you are mising quite a bit of detail (Such as damage values)
Also some spells need unique modifiers on the second tier (Such as the fourth spell, which just gives more resistance)
All spell upgrades should have some kind of name.

Isn't their a way to add different textures to identical items by name?

 

I think it's by durability

 

I saw it once, I don't know where, but it was a Halloween texture pack, if you named the diamond sword lollipop, it turned into a lollipop

 

probably they will change the texture pack again =( so bassicaly +work = -general suggestions

 

you are assuming you can stay still and use your spell

and 10 + 3 is only 13 blocks. So in PVP, I am pretty sure engineer gonna lose against an archer. Because they can escape and snipe bomb

Unless, the turret can follow you, or even simply follow that archer xD
