Fast Travel Please

I know there is fast travel with the scrolls but you have to keep buy them when you get to the city just to travel. In some cities they are expensive and it can get really anoying with the quests that have going back and forth for an item or a person. It would be cool if there was an easier and less expensive way of fast travel. It is good that it does use soul points on a scroll but maybe we can transfer that over to a different way of fast travel. like being able to type in chat. /warp to any major city or secondary city, only those cities because you could warp everywhere it wouldn't be that good and people wouldn't acutally travel. It would be nice when you use that command that it would take a soul point to be fair.

 

The main point of Wynncraft is that it's an RPG. Most RPGs don't let you warp anywhere you want whenever you want. Also, don't we already have an airship system?

 

There is fast travel. It's called the airship, sea skipper, and scrolls. Also that "/warp" command would kinda ruin the immersion and would be pretty game-breaking.

A staff member should really outline it in the rules that this kind of thing won't ever be implemented.

 

Most of the comments above already have stated everything but I will go into more dept.

Granted this can get very very annoying, but the only good solution is to use the scroll or use a horse or travel spells.

As I've said, horse or travel spell will do the job as spells are completely free except for mana, horses can be given to a player for free via the stable story quest.

The idea you've just stated is the exact same as tp scrolls, except for emeralds. But also I can see people like level 1 using this /warp command to their own advantage to tp to cities without the effort of levelling up and getting to the city legit.

But we also have tons of other fast travel such as:

Horses
Rymek elevators (debatable)
Alumj Ternaves pass
ect.

In conclusion this idea is basically tp scrolls not to mention we already have a bunch of stuff to help us get around easier.

 

If Ultra Fast Travel got added, then it would remove all sense of adventure or exploration. If you could just go to the exact places you needed to go for every quest or the best places for XP, then it would make you miss out on all the exploration elements that can lead to (oftentimes highly rewarding) secrets, easter eggs and bits of hidden lore.

Scrolls are enough, and their price scales with the area's level. Not to mention the fact that items with high Walk Speed and horses exist to aid travel too. What's even greater is that once you unlock the Airship Fast Travel between the two major Wynn and Gavel cities, Detlas and Cinfras, you can technically access anywhere you want in Wynn or Gavel easily with just some Detlas scrolls and enough patience to walk a bit.

How to fast travel:
1) Be Warrior/Mage
2) Unlock your movement spell, Charge or Teleport
3) Get a mana regen build with lots of intelligence
4) Go to a place that is really high in the air
5) Look in the direction you want to go
6) Jump off and click the right mouse button 5 billion times every second
7) ???
8) Profit

For the actual thread, a /warp wouldn't work. Scrolls are really, really cheap.

 

Hmm... This would probably ruin the concept of the server for me as traveling and exploring do function as a large part of what we do here on Wynncraft.

 

This will definitely not get added, Wynncraft is based around exploring, travelling and having fun!
/warp would ruin everything. There would be no way to actually balance this game-breaking feature.
Also, as someone already said, there are already fast travel.
Airships, scrolls, V.S.S Seaskipper and much more.
You just need to be patient when playing Wynn
