    'Sup everybody.
So, there are alot of people with a lvl 100 class. Hell, there are quite alot of people with several lvl 101 classes. And most of those are using builds using a certain set of 'normal' items.
Now don't get me wrong. Those items are used the most for a reason. (They're good.) And there will always be a certain set of items used more than other items because of the way percentages work.

But here's a nice set of items I don't see getting enough attention. Although their stats are can be very much worth it.
Than there's also some hive items that have just been updated to be amazing. (idk their exact stats, just writing what caught my eyes when I looked at them. If someone can give me screenshots of those, please give 'em. I'll credit you.)

    anyways, here we go:

    • Slots: 1
    • Health: +1000
    • Lv. Min : 59

    • Mana Regen: -6/4s to -11/4s
    • Spell Damage: +4% to +15%
    • Melee Damage: -6% to -11%
    • Mana Steal: +3/4s to +11/4s
    • Spell Damage: +15 to + 65
This thing will solve all of your mana problems if you got a good one. When using this, please do not forget that the natural mana regeneration is 3/4s. So if you got one with the least possible negative mana regen, try to get 3/4s mana regen on another item, so that your hunger bar doesn't just empty itself out.

Ya all know how when your sprint bar is completely empty, it takes mana, right?
And the amount of mana it takes is dependent on your mana regen, right?
So if you have alot of negative mana regen, great mana steal and a super slow weapon, could it be possible to run infinitely?

Or perhaps you get one with -11/4s mana regen, shift-right-click the helmet onto you when the bar is empty and you might even GAIN mana from sprinting. 0_0

To be honest, that +2000% hp regen isn't all that great in most scenarios. look here to see how %hp regen works.
But! Do you see how there's no negative thorns/reflection on here? THAT'S RIGHT! THIS IS THE ULTIMATE HIGH HP CACTUS NECKLACE!

(and it's actually a useful hp regen item for mages, as well. It may only be great when at very low hp. But as a mage, low hp is the only time heal isn't gonna be saving you.)

This chestplate is often compared to chestplate of ineptitude and than regarded as the worst of the two choices for a melee chestplate.
    BUT
Whilst this chestplate looks very much like a melee chestplate, It's more of a spell/melee hybrid chestplate, in my eyes. Since it has no negative impact on spell damage it makes melee actually worth using on your spell builds. ;p

It works pretty great with other items on this thread, as well. Would combo good with Cinderchain, the gambler, praesidium too, I guess. etc.

But my problem with it, is that it's almost a straight upgrade from concentration.
And it's free. And go to that class everytime you're about to leave a server. You should be able to get some in a few days, as well as some morph-topaz's. Great way to make easy money btw.)

I'm not 100% sure about those stats. If I'm wrong about anything, please say so. But look at that spell and elemental damage. Sure, it might have that negative attack speed. But this thing seems great for spell damage. And it's got negative water defense, which is a great excuse to use some more water armor. Without feeling bad about the negative thunder defense.

So, alot of people are saying that this item is complete trash and that it completely ruins your defenses. Even if it can give you a little health.

This is probably because at first glance, you see that 200 defense in all slots and you instantly think rainbow tank.
This, however. IS NOT a good tank item. Whenever you got other items giving you good elemental defense this item is BAD.

This item, however, shines whenever you already have BAD defenses
For an example, look at the build underneath.

    -200

    total defense = 200 + 200 -100 -150 -200 = -150

    with (a maxed) gambler:

    (200 + 200) x 0.3 = 120
    (200 + 200) x 0.3 = 120
    (-100 + 200) x 0.3 = 30
    (-150 + 200) x 0.3 = 15
    (-200 + 200) x 0.3 =0

    total defense = 120 + 120 + 30 + 15 + 0 = 285

    That makes a difference of 285 - -150 = 435 elemental defense.
And in the latter one, it's balanced out better.
This isn't even the best way to use the thing, it's just a realistic one.

Which is getting it's own lil' spot on this thread, because I really want to put it on here. But it's really a pretty bad item.

In order to balance it out, perhaps give it like and average of +35% elemental defense on each element? That'd make it an even cooler item, I'd say. And very usable. ;p

Than again, it's probably ment more as a joke item.
(A joke item I'd like to use.)
    )
    • class required: assassin
    • lvl. min. 97

    • All forms of elemental damage: +150% - +650%
    • All forms of skill points: +5 - +20
    • Quite a bit of xp, idk the amount.
This item isn't on wynnapps. So I can't just copy-paste the stats. But here are it's stats.
You give it two thunder powders and than the +% elemental damage does the rest. (thunder powders 'cuz those have the most DPS)

Now, the damage it dishes out isn't that impressive and it isn't gonna be effected by %spell/melee or %elemental damage from other armor pieces as much as any other weapon is. Most people think that this is a bad thing.
But, it works both ways. So the specialist barely notices the damage drawbacks from items like cancer and the amulet of rejuvenation. Making this the perfect poison dagger, in my eyes. At least.

I already gave you several builds that use this thing. I'm not gonna keep force feeding this thing to you, go think of something yourself, damnit!

Than again, anybody who uses a thread like this can't really think for themselves that well, can they? (or, you just look at other people their work for inspiration or something, perhaps you think it's fun. idk.

When I made this list, I thought about this item at first but forgot to add it later. Thanks for reminding me, Xavier.

As you should be able to see, it's melee DPS is pathethic and it's spell damage is non-existant unless you use powders and %elemental damage. Or raw spell damage. (Perhaps once war scream and raw spell damage are fixed, this'll actually be good for a raw spell war scream warrior. ;p ) It's got some awful mana steal as well.

On the other side of the coin, though. This item gives the biggest amount of HP in the game out of any item. For as far as I'm aware, at least. It's got some good defenses as well.

This item would be a great secondary weapon if you can afford the 135 defense requirement due to it's +5005 hp, you can basically use this thing until you're 5K hp down and than switch to your main weapon to finish the job. It's also good for cactus builds.

I don't feel like adding anymore items for now. Hope at least something has taken the interest of all of y'all. Might add some more later.

This thing seems like a pretty interesting melee wand to me, but 160-260 damage doesn't come close enough to what the other classes can get out of melee for me. Please do take this into consideration for melee mage, though.

Yeah I'm gonna not do that because it doesn't let Breakdown and Parasite shine with their strengths and it stretches my skill points way too thin, I'm gonna go for a melee based archer with Sleeping Beast and Breakdown instead to really let breakdown do what it does best, and leave the parasite build to focus on stealing ids.

That is a good load of items on the list...And an interesting choice of items as well.
I have a Recharge on me (8 ms -10 mr) so if I have time I might as well try that theory out (Though, would it be better if I get even more -Mana Regen gear on myself such as Exhaustion to test with Recharge?)

And for Breakdown, I was wondering if making a Thunder melee build out of that is possible (I know this is not the best thing out of all possibility--I am no build makers, just that I happen to get this helmet one day and this idea popped up.)
And because of that, I tried to put some items together and attempted to make a build (Which can only be described as "Mashing up a pile of useful gear into crap".)

(Had to put in mana regen accessories for the 100 Int requirement)
Couldn't get a proper weapon so Feedback with 2 T5 Thunder
The highest melee dmg is 1k per hit, but since I am not a build-maker I don't know its proper attack speed--Should be either Very fast or Super fast after CoI's Tier increase.)
Highest melee output is around 1k, could be more or less as I couldn't remember--Did this about 3 weeks ago.)
Since with that much Intellegence this might be better made into something relevant with spells but the melee damage seems pretty neat...If the Intellegence requirement can be spared by armour then accessories can be used to buff the thunder and melee dmg.
(Was thinking about Brass Knuckle, Barrage or Electric Torc, but because of the sp requirement I could never put them into the build.)
I tried another build basing on Breakdown suggested by @Bloww
    Breakdown
    Chef Hamsey's Apron
    Seipodon
    Nether's Scar

Mana regen accessories (Concentration/Moon Pool Circlet, Squid Anklet, Willpower/Lapis Necklace/Royal Stormy) I guess, you can throw in a Calming Torc or something.

    Feedback

    0/50/100/48

Though I remember trying this, I could not recall the dmg but I think it didn't work out that well apart from providing mana--The melee damage by thunder is not too far from decent. I am not saying that the build is bad! I have no means of that at all please don't hate me miss/mister Bloww
So...If one really is to make a melee build for Breakdown, I would be more than happy to be the test subject.

The problem with Breakdown is the really high int req.
I tried some builds by myself, and it turns out its pretty bad with mana builds (that's what I gave you)
I guess now you could try
    Breakdown
    Ineptitude
    Post-Ultima
    Stalagmites

    Lead x2
    Bovine Cuff
    Royal Dusty

The Parasite/Feedback and it'd work pretty well.

    But now we have Centipede which is a much better melee helmet ;w;

Well...I pondered for a while and I might have some new ideas , but I need to confirm something--Does Warscream's Melee damage application (Aka that bug) apply to Raw melee Damage only or % melee Damage as well?
And I think I might try that build out as well, though the skill points seems a bit clutchy...
    ...
Time to gather armour again I assume.

Edit : I think this might be a better idea than Lead, despite the 4 Strength lost.

Cinderchain is wrong, it got buffed massively
+30% spell dmg and +25% on earth thunder and fire damage
Making it a great spell pants if u seldom use melee

Thanks for telling me. Edited the +25% to +30% spell damage.

The armour has been tested (If you have yet to test this one), with the rings being Force Loop instead of Lead and the necklace swapped to something else.
Overall decent armour is used in this test, no powders are included.
The skill points provided by the armour has a total of 33 (24 Strength + 9 Dexterity) , and there is 1 extra skill point left.
    Yes, 1 extra skill point.
The armour I have are all having decent sp buffs so considering that, having maxed sp increase might be better for Post-Ultima as it can vary from 12 Skill points difference.
    Breakdown
    Chestplate of Ineptitude
    Post-Ultima
    Stalagmites

    Force Loop x2
    Bovine Cuff
Electric Torc (Yes it is not Dusty, I don't have one and swapped it...But hey, at least this gives dex and has extra thunder dmg and melee that can be higher than Dusty.)

From the 10 hits landed on the test subject in the gif, the dmg :
    Min :
    Neutral : 323
    Thunder : 357
    Earth : 442
    Total Min. Damage : 1122
    Max :
    Neutral : 664
    Thunder : 965
    Earth : 744
    Total Max. Damage :2373
I am not certain whether this is considered good or bad, I will leave it to you guys to determine.
And thus, proving that The Parasite is awesome.
Conclusion to be made by the pros, I will simply slowly slip away and wait for them to comment...

    Edit :
Suggested to swap out Breakdown > Conrupt and Post-Ultima to Leictreach Makani :
Apart from swapped gear, everything remains the same.
    https://gyazo.com/09988e60cab9e2a8f0247aa8739d160e
    87% Melee Damage
    87% Thunder Damage
    41% Earth Damage
    +4 Tier Attack Speed
    -1/4 Mana Regen
Since my Conrupt is not that good on Melee and Earth Dmg, if you get a better one the ids would certainly look better.
    https://gyazo.com/4dfdc23a664b2f1854a4c826e220e6bd
Looking a whole lot better than the first setup.
    https://gyazo.com/72275ab15cf4b49afd2723cf7b13b7ed
From the 10 hits landed on the test subject in the gif, the dmg :
    Min :
    Neutral : 286
    Thunder : 249
    Earth : 402
    Total Min. Damage : 937

    Max:
    Neutral : 463
    Thunder : 817
    Earth : 656
    Total Max. Damage : 1936

It does look like that the 2nd one is a better choice, if only the health regen is not as low.

This is not bad considering the attack speed, but there's probably better alternatives, like using Conrupt and Leictreach, and switching the 100 int to 100 agi.

Leictreach Makani might not work that well since Post-Ultima can add up the Thunder, Earth and Melee while switching into Leictreach Makani would cut off the Melee and Earth (But with increased tier and agi, which now allows one to have higher chance to dodge, and that would really help on close combat since that allows an easier time on approaching the opponent.), but Conrupt with good ids would certainly benefit more than Breakdown.
Apart from the damage, with 100 Int I am also allowed to use Tidebinder to receive a bit of mana regen which can be used on Charge to increase mobility.
I will be sure to do another dmg test with the two gear suggested, though personally I like the idea of using Breakdown and Post-Ultima better.

Sorry, I should've worded it better. I meant that I prefer the master voucher leggings over cinderchain and believe that they are over all better for fire/thunder builds. The negative defenses and -attack tier don't make up for the extra buffs imo. If you can't spare the agility then I would still use capsaicin before cinderchain. That's unless you are using a specific build that is built around cinderchain or a build that fits really well with it, but the example build you have would still work better with the master voucher leggings/vaward and even kratke.

Cinderchain: fire/thunder/earth damages, spell damage, skill points, -1 attack speed, lots of negative defenses (earth damage won't do much in fire/thunder builds except for spells that do a bit of earth damage, other ids such as exploding won't do much)

Master Voucher Leggings: higher hp, fire/thunder damages, walkspeed, health regen, mana steal, good defenses except for a small negative water and earth % which in no way makes it unusable for tanking unlike cinderchain (again, air damage won't do much except for spells that deal a bit of air damage).

The main difference here: Cinderchain nukes your defenses (the opposite of the what the master voucher leggings do), gives almost half the hp the master voucher leggings give, and gives -1 attack speed all in exchange for one difference which is 30% more spell damage.

You are right about the picture of the master voucher leggings being outdated (hive items were buffed again in the wynnter update, so the fire/thunder damages on the master voucher leggings are 5%? off from what cinderchain has).
