'absolute Zero' Abilities - Too Op?

  1. Taken my name, I made the decision of using it throughout almost 3 months of 'inventing' it as there is actually a pretty damn deep story behind it, not just 'for the lols'. I became somewhat inspired by my own fantasy for new abilities for each class, given the title of this thread 'Absolute Zero' may be a scientific term for temperatures reaching the complete zero (when it gets as cold as it can) however in my terms it would be Divine Zero, but eh, it's essentially a power level, if you're familiar with Dragon Ball then you'll get what I mean. Anyway, Divine Zero is essentially a power level greater than Infinity because f**k logic! I'm RealmLord, and that's the equivalent of my power.
    Enough about this scenario, I hope you've gotten a grasp of the meaning behind one of my little stories that describe me.

    These abilities would essentially be taken as magic in the world of Wynncraft, but actually are just abilities that defy logic to 'my' level.
    Let's take a look at an Archer for example. I currently hold my strongest ability as the Arrow Shield as it insta-kills anything, even a lvl 70 mana stealing, healing and thorns giving Mage! (I've been in pvp actually). Anyway, let's just assume the Arrow Shield is the strongest of the abilities. Now scrap this idea because it's completely irrelevant.Let's get the Arrow Storm spell :P. It deals hell of a little damage but spreads it out quite nicely, but how about we make it God-like? How about we make it Realm-like? No? Ok God-like then, I'm being too self-centered right now heh. Anyway, here's the general idea:

    Archer:
    Chosen Ability: Arrow Storm

    Upgrade acquired after using spell 100K times within 576 hours/24 days.
    Arrow Storm is kept as a separate ability whilst a new individual ability is created:
    Raining Phoenix

    Description:
    Player gains elemental defence increase by 300 points.
    -Playes gains Fire elemental strenght increase by 400
    Player gains Fire Resistance for 3mins.
    Dark particles (obsidian breaking) surround area in the sky.
    Flame halos are randomly created within this area, below the dark ceiling so that they are visible.
    Charged Fire Balls shoot 5 times from each halo, with a 2sec cooldown period, with each halo starting off 2sec after the previous.
    Each Fire Ball deals approx. 100-200 Fire dmg + 100-200 Normal dmg
    Upon making contact, Fire Balls create single explosions (tnt particle) dealing 20% knockback of a
    Knockback II sword enchantment.
    Ability ends with Flaming halos surrounding player and fading away. All buffs stay for the following 3 minutes from the start of the ability.
    Occurs within radius of 15-20 blocks.
    Player is able to guide the flying fire Balls by looking in the direction of choice.
    Ability ends as the dark sky twists into a sphere and explodes as final Fire Balls fire out of it.
    Triggering the Raining Phoenix is available at lvl80, Shift+ (Left>Right>Left)


    Mage:
    Chosen ability: Teleportation
    Upgrade acquired after using spell 100K times within 576 hours/24 days.
    Teleportation is kept as a separate ability whilst a new individual ability is created:
    Ritual of the Dead

    Description:
    Player gains Regeneration IV for 3mins.
    All elemental defences increased by 300.
    Dexterity increased by 270%, Thunder dmg increased by 270%.
    Black path is created (obsidian breaking/coal blocks placed) where player moves.
    Black aura is created around player.
    Automatically teleports around 20-30 block radius every 1.5secs dealing approx 400 Thunder dmg as well as sets enemies on fire for 10 secs, dealing 20 Fire dmg.
    Lightning? Sure! Lightning strikes with 20% dmg of the player around a 3 block radius.
    Effect ends as the lightning stops with an explosion, black aura fades away.
    Black path spews fire and also disappears.
    Triggering the Ritual of the Dead is available at lvl80, Shift+ (Left>Right>Left)

    Assassin:
    Chosen ability:
    Vanish
    Upgrade acquired after using spell 100K times within 576 hours/24 days.
    Teleportation is kept as a separate ability whilst a new individual ability is created:
    The Omnipresent One

    Description:
    Player gains invisibility for 3mins
    Strength is increased by 300%.
    Player gains Speed IV.
    All elemental defences are increased by 200.
    Player deals additional 100-200 Water damage + Dexterity.
    Within a 20 block radius the ground becomes purple with purple wool blocks, stained glass and the dragon breath particles.
    As player becomes invisible they slightly levitate off the ground as lightning strikes them and they vanish.
    As the players runs around killing the foes within the purple area their invisibility slightly disappears for split seconds to see where to player is, as this happens lightning occurs.
    This idea comes from the name itself, Omnipresence occurs within that area as the player IS essentially that AREA as they kill anything that enters it.
    Ability ends as the player is teleported to the middle of the area.
    Loses invisibility.
    The purple mist lifts into the air forming a sphere aprox 5 blocks in radius + 5 blocks above player's head.
    The purple essence then goes into the player as if being absorbed.
    Triggering the The Omnipresent One is available at lvl80, Shift+ (Left>Right>Left)

    Warrior:
    Chosen ability:
    Bash
    Upgrade acquired after using spell 100K times within 576 hours/24 days.
    Teleportation is kept as a separate ability whilst a new individual ability is created:
    The Darkness Unleashed

    Description:
    Player gains 300% strength.
    Player gains 300% resistance.
    Player gains Regeneration II.
    Player gains 200% Earth dmg + additional 200 Normal dmg.
    As the player slightly levitates off the ground, lightning hits the player making them release a shockwave outwards to 20 blocks radius, using dark particles such as furnaces burning or torches, etc.
    Taking original Bash idea into practice, the round block 'miniature earthquake' made from dirt, is this time made from coal or obsidian blocks, and reaching outwards rather than staying in position like an actual shockwave.
    Player also receives a black aura around their feet.
    Foes within radius of hit will receive 200% dmg of player and 200% Knockback II.
    After the shockwave ends the Warrior may walk around for the rest of the time tanking through their foes.
    Ability ends with a dirt shockwave killing anything near the Warrior (dealing 200 Normal dmg) and disappearing.
    Black aura disappears.
    Triggering The Darkness Unleashed is available at lvl80, Shift+ (Left>Right>Left)

    I realise how much detail this idea lacks in terms of actual stats, and how unbalanced it may be in terms of actual buffs, as some may be more advantageous than others. However this was intended to only be written in as simply as possible. I hope that this idea would be forwarded at least to some extent, if not then at least I would like the opinions of those who control such topics and actually making them a reality, as I would like to know whether I should continue to create more ideas as such. Note that English is not my first lagnuage therefore there may be flaws.

  5. 100K times:
    You must perform the same spell 100000 times in a set 0f 3 weeks otherwise everything resets. Wait for Mana regen (mana regen buffs won't solve anything). And other factors taken into consideration. I don't think you understand how much 100000 is xD

    You could do that many spells in less than two days without waiting for Mana to regen. The time it take for mana to regen is not equal to 22 days.

    There's not enough time in 24 days for that many spell casts.

    Nowhere do I see you say "this is a quick idea," in fact
    this quote seems to say the opposite, unless that's some unrelated stuff.

    Finally, what? Magic is very present in the world of Wynn, there is no reason to say this.
     
  9. The first quote you took off me was related to my name. The second quote relates to the idea that in Wynn people would call it magic because it is beyond their comprehension. I did say english isn't my first language, therefore I don't have the right wording to describe what I want to say.

    I play Assassin a lot, I could get that in a matter of like a day

    Mana regen
    Alternate between Spin attack and Vanish
    Easily get this

    Repeat for other classes and all of a sudden it's WAY too easy :|

    Also how would this interact with powder abilities? Those currently use shift+left/right click (depending on class)

    This would ruin PVP and PVE if they were active.
     
  18. Once again I say, that I did mention this is heavily unbalanced, hence me trying to make it practically impossible to achieve this, however who said there cannot be a cooldown or a build-up effect which has to be fulfilled to use these abilities?

    So you are saying that the people that do have enough time on there hands only get the ability.
    Not everyone can play for 24-7 so basically nobody will get it, and to top it off the people that do get it will have an insane advantage over most outher players in pvp or you can be brag that you soloed death in 20 seconds.

    you do realise soloing death in 20 sec is probably possible rn i can solo bob in 2mins and i dont even have a good weap and im not lvl 100 yet
