Corrupter Of Worlds Nerf

I have a Level 69 Archer with Wind Prison running Infinity and Corrupter of Worlds has such high damage output with his Multi-Hit spell that it can shred 5.7 thousand HP in 3 seconds, so it's nearly impossible to take on with a few people at my level.

 

I'll help you take him out. Let's both take at least 5 healing potions.

 

could go an all speed/air build. Remember to bring potions too and run arrow shield 24/7.
Escape spell when he's near you.

It's supposed to be a difficult, final(ish) boss, so that's why it usually takes a while to kill it at that level

Let's do a little bit of math here. Mobs' Heavy Multihits hits you 11 times for however much % damage, per hit. Unlike Assassin's Multihits, the last hit doesn't deal extra damage.

100-200*.8= 80-160
80-160*11= 880-1760

Or, if he gets a 100% power Multihits...

100-200*11= 1100-2200

That's at base, ignoring any defensive stats you have. Since you're an Archer, of course, you take extra damage at base.

100-200*1.4= 140-280

So let's recalculate his Multihits.

140-280*.8= 112-224
112-224*11= 1232-2464

140-280*11= 1540-3080

So, no, it CAN'T shred 5.7k health. His BASIC ATTACK is stronger, since it can hit twenty times per second, which means 2000-4000(2800-5600 for archers) damage per second from his basic attack versus his Multihits. Of course, since each hit has minor knockback, he's almost never actually hitting that maximum DPS. The trick is that his Multihits can often freeze you in place so he can continue hitting you with his normal strikes while you're trapped in it, so it seems like it's doing more damage than it should.

But, since you're using an Infinity, this of course means you have some defense on you, which is reducing it further. I'd recommend focusing in on either fire or air with powders while fighting him so that you can exploit his weaknesses better. In addition, staying far from him is best, since distance compounds knockback, which he already takes lots of.

Crud, forgot to say, @UniversalJustice, I try to use my Escape spell, but when he lands his multihit, it's just impossible, so I'm pretty much dead if he lands that on me.

And Wind Prison, which immobilizes him for a bit, and lets me have a 60% boost in Air damage. It might be because my Archer is balanced in stats. I never chose for a build, just an even skill set.

God I forget to mention everything. I also have spam capabilities like a high end mage, so I can easily spam Arrow Shield, thanks for mentioning that.

No need anymore. Beat the corrupter by now.

 

Actually the boss' low knock back and dps is the reason it's broken he will quite literally trap you

 

Instead of pointing that out you might want to actually offer your help.
Even though you might have a different experience some people do have problems due to their gear or knowledge, and that's nothing to shame someone for.

 

And everyone has options for getting away. Archer can Arrow Storm or Arrow shield, or if you've got a very/super slow weapon, nail him with an arrow then Escape while he's getting knocked back.

Warrior can War Scream, Uppercut, or even just Charge if you have a slow enough weapon.

Mage can Teleport or Ice Snake to get out and incapacitate him, or even just heal dependent on their defense.

Assassin can Spin Attack, Multihits to knock him away, or just flat out Vanish, which, given the new Vanish mini-charge, makes this even more effective.

 

Still a hard af boss, even when you get away it's 200 mph speed comes right back at you

 

Then attack it back.
