World Add Hang Gliders To Wynncraft! - Read Before You Criticize [86+ Supporters]

1. Not a fan
2. Why is this needed? Its only good when your on a cliff making it a very situational thing
3. They would have to redo quests and dungeons for this.
4. This was already added in the "Corkus Update" (meaning staff doesnt like)

 

And would also cause them all to break, since they were planned to be done normally

Just tell me one way in which this cannot be abused... -_-

How the hell do you even compare this to horses?! All horses do is to serve as a fast transportation method, while this opens up hundreds of ways to glitch out of the map and break stuff!

That is literally the stupidest thing I've read anyways! You might aswell make everyone immortal just because it's "magic"


Here's a few things:
-This doesn't fit into the lore, and cannot be made to fit in to it in any way. Why do you think games such as skyrim or lotro don't have these?
-Making this happen would cause hackers to roam all over wynn.
-None of wynncraft was designed for this, implementing this would require a complete redesign of wynn.
-This would open hundreds, if not even thousands of ways to break the game, such as exiting the map and getting on restricted areas
-Like 90% of this thread is you bumping it, please stop

 

I think a better idea would be to make a limited-use emergency parachute. The point would be to keep people from dying from fall damage, without kind of breaking horses and movement abilities and... everything. Emergency parachute would have around 3 uses and be fairly expensive. It would give you slow fall if you right click it, but it wouldn't allow you to really move much in the x or z plane.

1. To use it you need to be at a high elevation
2. It drains your Sprint bar
3. You can already get to areas you shouldn't be able to with movement spells.

I like that idea, but I still want actual hang gliders. I'll suggest parachutes separately.

How doesn't it fit into the lore? Also, Wynncraft isn't Skyrim, even if it has similar traits. Also how would hackers "roam over Wynn"... you can only use it if your feet are touching the ground, and if they hack, wouldn't they be roaming around anyways? That's just silly... Also how would they get out of the map, and can you name a few thousand ways it would break the game please? Mages can already teleport out of the map in some places, archers can skip almost all parkour, same for warriors. Assassin already has vanish which gives Jump Boost II and Speed III which can let you get to places not originally intended. Also, as to me bumping it, no, I will not stop. I want people to see my idea. If newcomers go to the suggestion page, it's more than likely they won't go past page 1.

 

Hang gliders don't fit into any magic lore, you'd probably get more positive votes if you changed it.
There have been games with flying mounts, flying magic.
But hang gliders were never included.

In my opinion there are two types of areas to travel in.
1. Traveling on a safe and relatively mobless area. ( For example the ocean)
2. Traveling through a mob full area
( For example the dark forest)

It would make traveling faster wich is fine but removing the dangers of traveling is a bit too much. That's why we have horses! It allows us to travel faster but their is still a danger.

I do like the idea but I don't like making the game that much easier.

 

Archers can use escape to jump over any mobs. Mages can teleport through them. Warriors can charge over them. Assassins can use vanish and walk right by them.

If anything gliders are less overpowered because they drain your Sprint bar, and you need a high elevation to use them.
