Website & Forums Suggestions: Add A Likes Given Counter (+11.5) & A Lock Profile Post Comment Chain. (+11.5)

Hey all, so I have an idea for two Quality of Life things we can add to the forums.

SUGGESTION 1: ADD A LIKES GIVEN COUNTER:
So, this is kind of self-explanatory. Add a counter that tells how many likes someone gave in compared to how many they get. This is to see who gives the most likes. Plus, I also just wanna know how many likes I gave and how many likes @XavierEXE gave.

SUGGESTION 2: ADD A WAY TO LOCK A PROFILE POST
This one works like locking a thread. So when someone does not want replies to a status update or profile post in their profile page, they can lock the post so no one can reply to it. This can be useful in situations where there's a lot of spam, like what is happening in @Temwolf's profile. Of course, only the person who owns the profile page can lock it, since it would be stupid if anyone had the permission.

And plus, ffs, we can delete posts in our profile, but we cant lock them like what mods can do to threads?

So basically a leaderboard for Xavier? I feel like it would just encourage like-bombing more than anything else. The second one seems good though.

 

I mean, it doesn't have a leader board necessarily.

 

The first one seems unnecessary, especially for a "Quality of Life" suggestion.

The second is unfortunately not possible using the current xenforo forums, unless one of our devs wants to actually develop that, which may also not be possible.

There are limits to what you can do with a predisposed forums software.

 

i think XenForo allows you to put your own HTML and CSS tho

if only they let you put ruby
then it would be better

 

That's why I'm not sure. Point is, we're going to need a web dev for that one, and we don't have any very active people like that.
