Wynncraft Should Have An App

Am I the only one who thinks wynncraft should have a mobile app. The app should include a map, a way to check stats, get daily rewards, and a way to check your quests. Comment down below any other ideas you may have for an app.

 

There was an app for android a while back

 

Hey, you know that you could try to make your own! Or even try and ask if someone on the forums can make one! Idk if there is currently an official one being made. Or if there is a fan made app being made, but you can ask someone to make it! There are a lot of people (I say a lot, but Idk if it's a lot) who can make apps on these forums. So if you want an app, then maybe ask them, maybe they can make it!

 

I heard Sayoaran has a Wynnapps android app

 

A map and stats would be helpful. I don't think Daily Rewards or the Quest Book are possible.

 

The app shouldn't include a way of collecting daily rewards, as the daily reward is meant to encourage people to play on the server itself, and it would not be fair to those who actually come online faithfully every day for the reward.

Well, the point of the daily reward is to maintain people's enthusiasm towards the game, and creating and app for collecting daily bonuses seems kinda absurd, even for those who paid.. *eula AHEM*

 

I like this idea, but there's one problem.

While I would love to see a Wynncraft app, we technically don't own the domain. The forums is run by a company called XenForo, and IDK if we can take its data and make it our own app....


But this is a good idea!

If you can figure out how to get XenForo data onto a custom app, I support!

 

Also forums. Everything but the daily rewards is doable through the API.

 

Why did you do this to me

 

I don't understand the point in having an app. All of this is or could be on the website.

 

1. we don't need xenforo data since only the forums uses xenforo
2. the owners own the domain of wynncraft.com

 

Having an app on the app store costs $99 /month, I don't think we should put those extra bills on it.
