New Quest: Hook, Line, And Sinker.

You don't learn to fish, you make a fishing and then get sent through time magically 2 hours later.

A cool idea would be to make it so you actually get to fish. Not like vanilla fishing, like something having to do with Redstone and command blocks, but I will leave that part up to you. Also I feel the boss battle is unnecessary and out of place.. I mean one second you are fishing, the next second you are killing a huge monster.

Also the quest has no special mechanic (the mechanic would be the special fishing if you added it).

thats because squidward didn't wanna leave his new home. as. fetching him fish again would be like the old version of the quest all over again. while boss battles are more sarisfying and better than some fetch quest. and your running around to investigate, like other quedts. i however agree with you in the special mechanic, as i am thonking of a cut scene of the fish comming to the hook

[2/2] Mathesus: Fishing at this river is very dangerous, if you want to learn how to fish, come back to me at level 59.

[2/6] Mathesus: Have you ever been fishing? NO!?
[3/6] Mathesus: I'm gonna teach you how, but I can't just give you a rod.
[4/6] Mathesus: You see, we don't have any rods to lend, your going to have to make one.
[5/6] Mathesus: Go get me [1 Naga tail] and [3 String] and I'll craft the rod for you.
[6/6] Mathesus: It shouldn't be too hard to get.

Once you enter the underwater cave: [Quest book Updated] Kill the beast and tell Mathesus everything.

One day in the squid village, Calamaro was remodeling everything. kroken and squidward were kicked out for disloyalty. kroken was slain by a warrior (according to the seasail captain) and squidward fled to a river in gavel.

@The One-eyed Guy I made it in quest form, so I hope you enjoy. :)

tips: you can get naga tails by killing naga fighters in the Olux swamp.
you don't have to go all the way to nivla woods to get 3 string. you can go into the Olux swamp and kill silkweb spiders.

for builders: If this quest is actually planning to be added, the boss cave for squidward should be all rocky, and large. like a big, large, rocky hole in the ground (specifically typical gray stone.)

how I got the idea for this: As a professional fisher that lived in florida, I thought this would be a good idea to add in the game.

I got the squidward Idea from Underice, my favorite quest of all time!!! I thought that squidward probably must of been starving, and then curious on how he was still living, then I got the Idea for squidward eating the other squids to survive from this video strangely:

Ya, I made lore for them. They were kicked out, and according to the seasail captain: "A warrior slayed the Kroken!" And squidward fled to the river.
