Go Strait To 1.11

So Wynncraft is slow at updating, right?

I came up with an idea. So in updating we go 1.5-1.6-1.7-1.8(rn)

what if we go like 1.8-1.11?

So much more efficient. It'll probably be a year but I can get a mythic that I dont have that they plan on going to 1.9 rn.

What sucks? the PvP/ That has no effect on wynncraft

and 1.11+ has so many things for wynncraft that we dont have.

First of all, 1.11 players wont have horse lag

 

A lot of us don't just play on Wynncraft.

 

and on PvP servers, if its 1.8 and 1.11 play together, thre is no difference at all except for animations. In fact, 1.11 has much better hit detection then 1.8

 

But the PvP changes all suck, and all fly too closely into FPS game territory.

The PVP changes are good because it keeps us from fighting guys with good internet plans and actually winning.

 

shields suck. They take place of blocking with your sword, and every time I block a big shield blocks half of my screen and I manage to die in the next 2 seconds.

They can probably just edit out those features if they don't want to integrate them into the game yet. Though I highly doubt they will update at all b/c of command blocks. Grian said in the stream that the commands in the new updates mess with the old commands, thus they would have to rewrite and rework most command blocks in the game, which would take a monstrous amount of time that could have been spent on actually making features.

First off
Nice spelling kid
Second above 1.8 doesn't work for some people, so this would be lowering the amount of people playing wynncraft and they'd make less money
Also its pointless, unless your suggesting they have a huge game play update where things from 1.9 can help, it does literally nothing.

We still need to update to 1.9 and 1.10 fully before anything, plus it could be updated during the corkus update however I do not guarantee it

 

1.9, 1.10, and 1.11 don't work for some people.

 

1.11 would be nice but it would take a looong time to update it.

 

Maybe we update to 1.14 once that's out, since one of the mc devs said that's when the features from 1.10-1.14 would make a standard sized update. Like 1.7 or slightly smaller or bigger than 1.8.

So, we'd shift to 1.9 now, then shift to 1.14 when it's out. It would fix the horse issue too, however we have the glass panes in some parkour (and generally in the world) and the stingy 1.9 combat haters who don't get that most servers still have the 1.8 combat system.
