World Full Storyline(s)

I propose a full player quest storyline, or maybe storylines, if I were to separate different issues.

Starting at 1 and ending at 100, taking you through a broad spectrum of lore, and stories. Connecting to certain quests that are already there, as well as creating new ones. All relating to the major issues we see in the game, but never do anything about.

Why? Well any self respecting MMORPG has a storyline, and it would definitely be a lot more fun, as well as promoting exploration and adventure.

If I were to separate the different lines, It'd probably be something like this.

First Storyline/Main Storyline - Wynn, and its issues with corruption. - 1-75

Spoiler: Possible Events

Starting with simply fighting different creatures, you'd move on to lots of different things.
Scientific and psychological studies of corruption, some of which can get quite controversial.
Adventures into a "Nether" quest zone. Possibly still surviving civilizations within the "Nether".
Experiments on the Roots of Corruption.
And more!
All interconnecting with some of the current quests .

Third Storyline/Main Storyline - People of Gavel. - 40-100

Starting with the Orcs, fending off raiding parties and trying to negotiate.
Moving onto the Trolls and Ogres and their own personal problems.
Dealing with swamp natives.
Taking it to the Bandit problems around Cinfras and the Canyon of the Lost.
Rebuilding Thanos.
Helping the Bantisu Monks.
Thwarting the Lyrans.
Interacting with the Humans in Eltom.
With Villagers interspersed throughout all of them.
Then negotiating and fighting between the Dwarves and the Doguns.

Fourth Storyline/Main Storyline - The war between the light and dark. - 60-100

Learning more about the culture and society of the light and dark realms.
Discovering corruption in the midst of the light, and infiltrating the realm of the dark.
Preventing fighting as much as you can so as to limit the corruption in Wynn and Gavel.
Maybe more time travel.

Well why is this here?
I want to invite everyone to start creating quests for this storyline.
This is going to be a very large very long term suggestion project.
But if we all work together we'll have a complete storyline for our game!

Tips for creating quests -
Make it detailed, we want the whole quest.
Put as much lore as possible without it being an exposition fest.
Do research and make sure it fits with the lore.
Try to have it involve something new, if you haven't noticed Wynn tries to avoid repeat quests as much as possible.

'Nether' has 6 letters.
'Emerald' has 7 letters.
6 + 7 = 13
Illuminati has 13 bloodlines.
Emeralds also come in blocks and liquids,

A triangle has 3 sides.
Emeralds are Illuminati.

Yes.

I'm kinda split between letting the CT do it and us doing it. For one, if we did it, there wouldn't be any surprise. If we helped make quests, there would be no new content in the next updates because we made it all and know exactly what happens. Another reason is that the Admins and other CT have their own vision of Wynncraft - a vision that could conflict with ours.

 

They can of course edit our vision.

Bout racial/species inequality?

 

Those work as well.
It's the controversial ones I love reading the most.
Stories were created for many things, but the most important one was to draw attention to things wrong with us.
To point out injustices so we could address them.

 

Injustices:
-Racial inequality and Immigration (Ex. Lost City and that one racist villager in Thesead)
-Courruption of the higher powers (Ex. Ba'al)
-Oppression/Protest (Ex. Ooni)
-War (Ex. Light vs Dark, Orcs and Trolls, Other speicies hating each other)

Unknown causes:
-Why do other species hate other species in the first place?
(My Idea: People of higher power are accusing/lieing that other species are doing all the wrong doings. The higher powers see them selves as "perfect race" and accuse every conflict, like decay, to species that went involved with it in the first place. The Oppressors/Rebellion (Ooni is part of it) are the only few that go against that they are a perfect race and believe equality to all races. They want to stop false discrimination to other species that wernt part of the conflict in the first place)

 

While all relevant, I'm kinda lookin for full quests I can put down.
If you'd like I can put together a few quests out of this, but it'd all be post December.
I have ACT's coming up, so my focus is on those.
