World Add Hang Gliders To Wynncraft! - Read Before You Criticize [86+ Supporters]

Simple idea. Give Wynncraft hang gliders!

The actual flight mechanics would be similar to the Elytra wings. You could gain momentum and fly upwards, change speeds, dip, turn, dive, you name it. They would not be an item that you wear like armor. Instead, in order to fly you would hold it in your hand. You can start using a hang glider while you are on the ground. If you are falling, or in the air and you equip it, the glider will not work. Using the hang glider will drain your sprint bar. It will drain 3% every second, allowing you to fly for about 33 seconds. You could get a good distance with that I believe.


Gliders would be obtained from a merchant at a merchant that is placed in Llevigar and Cinfras. It would cost about 1 liquid emerald ( I think that is fair ) and the level minimum is 55. The lore of the item should be something like "These papery wings have the faint smell of air magic. It says it was made by Oramu at the Air Temple."

Mmph. I don't really see what the point would be. For quests, dungeons, or what? Because otherwise, people could abuse this up, down, and sideways.

I like this. It would make long-distance quests or general travel less "fetchy", I guess you could say.

100 seconds is way to long. If you had the right speed you could honestly travel half the ocean or more in 100 seconds. Honestly I'd change it to around 15 seconds to keep it balanced, because we don't want OP stuff

Also maybe have a level minimum on it like 75 or 80 so you can't have em on your level 6 mages

 

Feels like a better warriors charge rip

How about I'll add a "please dont be a complete jerk in threads because that is just rude". This is vey doable, items like Elytra are already in the game. Even without using this since it would require 1.9+ wynncraft can do it. Look at all the other stuff they've done.

How about adding a durability (like the durability in tools in Minecraft), meaning the glider would lose durability the more you use it. Once the durability goes to 0, then you cannot lo get use it. You still have it, but can't use it. To repair the glider, bring it to an NBC and it will fix it for 30EB

So far im kinda neutral in this suggestion

 

Dude, flying as warrior is the only reason I like warrior.

 

I'd like a level 80ish version stable story in the canyon of the lost for this item, I agree with your general idea and we need it very badly because
