    Friends should definitely be mutual... like srsly...

    How this could work:
    so pretty much like mineplex, when someone adds you as a friend, it will send you a request. You can accept the request, or deny it. Only after you accept it will they be able to see what server you are on.

    Since /friend can be a good tool for mods, Ill suggest a new command /tag <ign> . you can see what server the player is on and whether he is online or not.

    although I am not a victim of this, ppl like TheDarkSoul and @Broettinger get stalked and cant grind in peace....

    Another option is to implement a new command /block. This command makes it so no one can see what server you are on (maybe also block /find | Doesn't applies to Mods)

    Friending people without them knowing is good for keeping track of hackers ;)
    I think for non-mods mutual friends would be better than the current system, though.

    I love this idea, and believe it would be great. But I have some concerns.

    I have some people on my friends list, that sadly have quit wynn. I want to see if they ever log on again. If this was to be added, would our friends list be reset? Also if someone really was stalking you, they could look at your server from the stats page, or search it on the api. Not to mention /find can easily be used to follow players too.

    not a bad idea... /friend should still be mutual tho

    maybe they can make it so that it wont reset friends you have who havent logged on in 1.5-2 months
