World The Rare Flower (level 10+ Quest)

This is my first post/suggestion on the Wynncraft forums, so please excuse me if I use incorrect context for my suggestion.

Okay, so this quest is called Lost In The Woods. It's level 10+ and it starts with an NPC directly outside Nivla Woods. She is female and quite elderly but I haven't chosen her name yet so we will call her NPC1 for now. There is also another, younger, male NPC who I haven't chosen a name for yet who we will call NPC2.

NPC1 Pre-quest Dialog
[NPC] NPC1 (1/1): Come back when you are level 10 or higher, I need a strong hero to help me!

NPC1 Quest Dialog
[NPC] NPC1 (1/5): Have you seen my son anywhere? His name is (NPC2).
[NPC] NPC1 (2/5): A few hours ago we were talking a walk, and then he suddenly went into the Nivla Woods and didn't say why. He told me to wait here and that he would be back in a few minutes, but he hasn't come back for hours and I'm quite worried.
[NPC] NPC1 (3/5): His navigational skills are not so good and he could have gotten lost easily. I probably shouldn't have let him go by himself, but it's too late now.
[NPC] NPC1 (4/5): Can you go find him, please?
[NPC] NPC1 (5/5): I would go myself, but what if he comes back while I'm gone?

The player then goes to find NPC2. He is located somewhere deep in Nivla Woods.

NPC1 Mid-quest Dialog
[NPC] NPC1 (1/1): Please hurry and find (NPC2).

NPC2 Pre-quest Dialog
[NPC] NPC2 (1/1): Who are you?

NPC2 Quest Dialog
[NPC] NPC2 (1/6): Who are you?
[NPC] NPC2 (2/6): Oh, Mother sent you. I almost forgot that she was waiting for me!
[NPC] NPC2 (3/6): I wandered off into the middle of the forest. But some spiders jumped out of nowhere and scared me, so I ran away and ended up here.
[NPC] NPC2 (4/6): I would have walked back to Mother, but I can smell a very rare flower nearby.
[NPC] NPC2 (5/6): I've been searching for hours, because this particular flower is so uncommon in Maltic. I've heard the lowest price is around 300 Emeralds. That's enough money to feed our family for years.
[NPC] NPC2 (6/6): Please go back and tell Mother that she has nothing to worry about and that I will come home after I find this flower.

The player then goes back to talk to NPC1. She is in the same location as before.

[NPC] NPC1 (1/5): You found him? Where was he?
[NPC] NPC1 (2/5): Looking for rare flowers? That's fine, as long as he's not in danger.
[NPC] NPC1 (3/5): Before you go, please allow me to give you a reward as a token of my appreciation.
[NPC] NPC1 (4/5): We aren't the richest family, though. All I can spare for you is some change and this old key I found the other day. I'm not sure what it unlocks as I haven't had time to inspect it properly. You can have it.
[NPC] NPC1 (5/5): Thanks again!

Why would we ever need more level 10 quests? You can level up by grinding really fast, and Prison Story gives dungeon keys too. And we need more level 90+ quests, not level 10+...

You didnt grind enough.

I got to lv 87, never got dxp on quests except for 3 on the dxp weekends, and dont have an exp set (I usually have around 65%)

And the grind wasnt that bad

 

I finished Qira with dxp and it glitched giving me only 1 mil xp pregameplay

 

I didnt get dxp on WynnExD. Thats like 600k exp.

 

I joined last week and I'm currently level 14, so how am I supposed to know that?

 

Then why are you just joined and already suggesting a quest?

 

Because I want to contribute to the server by providing ideas... That's kind of the point of General Suggestions. And you don't need to jump on new users so quickly.

 

The quest doesnt make much sense...
What does this Flower do? Its completely pointless.

Ewww fetch quest (kinda)

 

That's exactly why I made it have very low rewards.

 

It levels you up with Elemental Exercise done, and Decrepit Sewers key is too good for a fetch quest reward.

 

Guys this is a good quest. It isn't a generic go kill this and I'll give you stuff. It introduces people to quests and such. I think this is a very good quest and low level quests aren't bad either. We also have the molten heights quests coming anyways. Just be patient for more quests ok

 

There is a quest drought from level 9-12, and from level 90-100 but
the devs have said that a level 90-95 questline will come out soonTM and it will be based around and in Molten Heights and
even if it is still easy to level up to, I don't see a point in leaving a level range questless.

Just say he gets lost easly who sais navigational skills in a medieval time

Low level quests aren't needed

Well, make it like, say, Fantastic Voyage, where the key gimmick is crafting. Or the Canary Calls where the mechanic is the nausea. Even a puzzle or integrating the quest into the land, making it so something you've walked over a thousand times suddenly becomes full of reason. that's a great feeling in any quest. it's a bit like in Wynn ex D. where you have to follow the eyes to the map pieces. You've walked over those eyes a thousand times, and now they've suddenly come to life and full of reason. Now that's not the exact thing i'm telling you to do, that's the kind of thing I mean by 'substance'. something to give the quest a little bit of flair.

 

But then why bother? Low rewards, low requirements, this is just plain simple and isn't very fun.

 

Xp armor and DXPs don't affect quests. Unless you did this before the player update.

Also people, don't hate on a quest just because it is A low level one. Sometimes the smaller quests are the most fun even if they don't give great rewards. Wynncraft isn't about only leveling up, it is also about the overall RPG experience.

 

How to make a bad quest:

Go to a place.
Go to another place.
Go back to the first place.
Quest over.
