I know that the Item Guide is awesome as it is now, but can't it do with some teeny improvements?
At least, that's what I think. So here are some additions that might be useful.

The first thing is tags. I know that the Item Guide already has tags for all the tiers all from Normal to Mythic, but, where are the Untradable and Quest Item tags? 'Cause them tags might be useful when you are looking through the Guide and find a really cool weapon or somethin' and think: "Wow man, I want this!" and then you go to the Trade Market and make a thread called "Buying: Stinger" for an example. And then somebody tell u in the comments: "You can't buy that item. It's untradable and must be gotten from defeating this and that" and so on. So that's just something that would be a bit useful. Also it might be smart to add a restrictions sorter, so that you can see what items are untradable or quest items without having to scroll down so much.

On to my second thing. Texture sorters? Yea. Texture Sorters. Because you might be looking for good fire texture daggers and thinking: "Ugghh... This takes so long to find because I gotta scroll down from one of these past like 10 others until I get to the next one." So here is an example of how it could look:

    Texture Sorter
    ----------------------------------------------
    [] ✣ Normal Type
    [] ✹ Fire Type
    [] ❉ Water Type
    [] ✦ Thunder Type
    [] ✤ Earth Type
    [] ❋ Air Type
    [] ✣Multi Elemental Type
    -----------------------------------------------

This would mainly be used for weapons and accessories, to filter the texture type of the item. So if you click the ✹ Fire Type box, it will show you fire weapons and accessories. And so on.
The texture filter will allow you to find the item textures you are looking for. So if you want to find air textured wands, just click the ❋ Air Type box after you select the "Wands", and then all of the air textured wands will pop up.

That about sums it up for now! Hope you like this theoretical addition to the Item Guide.

How would they determine what a Fire accessory is?
Weapons I assume will be going by damage values?

Probably if it has a positive damage effect, like Fire Dmg 1-3. That's considered as a fire weapon I guess.

It does not have anything to do with negative/positive effects on stuff. Only like the textures, as @AlanKus said, at least on the accessories. Weapons, I guess will be the texture too because the texture is like the "Type" that the weapon has.

i really like this idea but it would be awesome if you could also look for a specific id (mana regen, walk speed, xp bonus ect.)
i know that might me a lot of work because there are i feel like 2million different id's but it would be nice anyway

I was explaining the damage values. If it had positive fire damage, I thought it would be considered as a fire damage weapon.

Good idea. For element sorting how is the type decided? Is it based on the damage? If so, would that make every weapon with more than one damage type a multi-element weapon?

I'm not really sure about that yet. Either it is going to sort it by the textures, which was my original idea, of it is going to sort them by damage.

What about a weapon like Black that has both fire and thunder stats but the Multi elemental texture, would that only be counted as Multi or as fire and thunder as well?
There's also Thrundacrack, Thunder texture spear but is considered a water/thunder mythic because of ID's

What about a weapon that does elemental damage but uses the rainbow weapon texture, like Jolt of Inspiration?
Or weapons that work for an element but require powders to work? Let's say I searched for Earth/Water bows and nothing came up, even though there is an Earth/Water bow, called Juneberry. It just requires water powders.
    ________________________________
And for weapons where the texture doesn't relate at all to the damage the weapon does, like Serpent's Kiss?
