The Freezing Heights Issue

Someone help me I need levels :(

 

i think the more altruistic ppl have gone down the more toxic the community has gotten. Toxic as in selfish.

 

I'm still kind of new (especially to the party thing), but would you get less xp if you are in a party? Or would you get pretty much the same, just someone else benefits from it to.

 

The mobs in freezing heights are waaay tougher to kill for me...

The thing is, you got the final grinding spot for 15 levels. At most it really should be a grinding area for only a few levels. I wouldn't mind a few more new grinding areas

Because it was never intended to be one in the first place. (I'm assuming you're referring to the extremely broken grinding spot in the Fortune Teller that got fixed after the gameplay update released)

Anyways, I've always divided the Freezing heights into 3 main areas:

• The area closest to Dogovi, AKA the area with the cave and the Dark and Light mages.
• The upper area, probably the most efficient and popular of the 3 areas.
• The back area, the one with all the Magma Entities. (My personal favorite, don't ask why)

In my time of grinding at Freezing Heights, what I would usually do is check and see if any of these areas were occupied or not, and if they were all occupied, I would just switch servers.

Having more grinding spots around the level 90 area would be nice and would help with the conflict between players but I think making the only grinding spot available around the level 90 area be a huge multi-leveled structure with multiple choices of grinding rather than a small area with only one choice of grinding, and yes, I know even that is not enough to supply the many level 90s with good XP juice, but for what we got, I'd say it's pretty good.

As for your concern for people under level 90 using the Freezing Heights, causing more clutter among players, and not using other spots that are just as viable for their level, (Hot spring cave, Hive entrance). Maybe one of those storyline quests for Molten Heights, say, a level 89-91 quest, could lock people out of the Freezing heights until they complete an objective in said quest, and be granted permission to the Freezing Heights. JUST be granted permission, WITHOUT the need of a quest helmet, ANYTHING but quest helmets.

And if this causes issues with level 80-90 grinding, they could always build more caves around the canyon with similar efficiency to the Hot Spring cave. Don't forget about the planned level 81 dungeon as well.

Nah xD. I usually write in a purple text anyways lol. I might change it to orange on Halloween though ;).

 

It's because some people are selfish and don't realize that there are hundreds of other grinders wanting their shares of kills as well.

If most people used the "intended" party system, then people would grind in peace and this thread would not exist.

 

Cool. I always liked to be neutral myself.

 

I would type in 3 different colours depending on which of my characters is talking but I think having three idiots yelling at each other all the time would get annoying pretty fast for some people.

 

Frozen is pretty awful, but at 90-95 it should be good. At around 95+ grind at the dragonlings near ahmsord, how else do you think i got to 101 c;

Also IMO Dragonlings Cave is 2x as fast as FH at Lvl. 95+
