General Community Manager Feedback

Hey guys, I was hoping I could get some feedback on how I am doing as your community manager, what you like what you dislike, what you want me to do more or less of.

Basically just let me know what works and what doesn't so I can keep it all in mind and do a better job.

Please be constructive don't just say "your lame" give some information, how can I improve and how can what goes on work better. If you're just gonna say things without having anything to fix it then it defeats the purpose of getting feedback. *I'm deleting the your lame comments other than bank's*

I think you are doing a great job. Not only are you very helpful at resolving issues, but you're able to brighten up the community.
As for the Twitter... another teaser, please? (Also, can you clean up the Wynnic a bit? Sometimes the symbols look similar or not to what they really are. :P

Alright, I'll see what I can do about the Wynnic, it's mainly @Ryuu that does all my art, so I guess I can just tell her to art better? And as for another teaser I'd have to really think about it, but most likely not. I only had 4 specific ones planned and I don't wanna reveal too much for what's in store for the next update.

 

I think you are great! You are active a lot and always try to answer things immediately or at least as soon as you can. I'm not sure, but maybe we might need someone to represent the community from the east hemisphere. Meaning that in not so busy hours of Wynn (12am-9am EST or something around that), we might need someone taking care of that. Then again, I dont know much since my time zone is EST.

You're doing good! I feel like the twitter hasn't been doing much this year so it's nice to see that that's back. Also the feedback section is pretty nice.

So overall as far as being the gold standard of how the community should be affixing, you're doing pretty good. The events you've done so far seem to have worked well so far, which is also looking good (I'm not going to question the methods through which you obtain your prize money). The involvement of the CM in question in the community is also notable.

However, I feel that right now, more can be done with the rank of Community manager. For example, more official guide threads. Sure it's cool for community members to make the guides, but this could also be don't by the community manager. That way it would be 100% accurate 99% of the time, and the thread can immediately be stickied.

Those are a few things off the top of my head, but if I have more I'll edit them in

 

I feel like community managers not only put on big events, but small ones too, like...

"Hey! Who want's to do some fun grinding and exploring? I'll be there!"

or

"Let's have a couple item and party bombs at detlas!"

 

More guides would be nice, but it's also nice to see the community help each other. And I don't think having so many stickied guides would be very helpful, it pushes down the other content and kinda takes up a lot of space. I could make a super guide, but to do that I'm gonna need quite a bit of time.

That's actually not a bad idea, right now I'm doing something like that with the mods, but recently I've been pretty preoccupied with IRL stuff.
But I'll definitely try to do those, that sounds really fun.

 

Hello! I draw the teasers!
The Wynnic is really not meant to be a substantial part of the teaser and almost always just contains some completely irrelevant snarky pun that @Pretzule tortured me into adding. Without the Wynnic, the text looks rather bland. I need them to be thick and compact so they can act as a border (I've tried the alternative thinner version as well and chose the... lesser of two evils lol). I will try to clean up my Wynnic though, thanks for the suggestion!

And wwhat? More teasers? Who knows? I sure don't... (☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞

I don't want to steal the spotlight here so let's not get off topic. I think Pretz is an amazing community manager, but I do agree with @Jamieverse that perhaps more frequent minor events will be a nice addition!

Excellent! I think you are doing a fantastic job at your community manager. I like how you plan fun events every month for the Wynncraft community, keep up the great work! This server would be ALOT worse without you. keep that in mind. You make everything fun and entertaining for everyone. I appreciate that. :3
