World About The Chain Lightning Ability...

Completely unplayable, quitting Wynncraft.

I can't say anything to the damage.

 

I like this idea. They need to buff the dmg. Im archer with Spiritshock build with 2x tier IV yellow powder. My base dmg is 900 el. But that chain ability is doing like 1500 per hit and my arrow bomb is doing around 6K.

Lightning doesn't have a color; it is energy. It can appear to be blue, yellow, purple, white, green, red, and many other colors. The color of the lightning is the energy passing through the gases in the atmosphere and causing the photons to emit a color. It just depends on what elements are in the gas that it passes through. However, I do agree that is needs to be more neon/vibrant rather than dull and dark. Might I suggest a sparkling yellow beam that causes the entities it hits to emit bright blue particles?

Also buff the damage lmao.

I just used chain lightning myself again, and I did notice that it's insanely weak compared to the other powders. Chain Lightning is practically useless when we have Spin Attack, Arrow Bomb, Bash, and Meteor. This special ability isn't so special.

 

I was really disappointed when I got it, as I was expecting it to summon actual lightning from the sky.

I kinda like the color. It looks a lot more lightning-ish.

 

Honestly, chain lighning as a powder special is beyond anything, it is so catastrophically bad it actually makes me cry every time I cast it.

My suggestions:
1. Make it DO SOMETHING GODDAMNIT
2. Make it look like a thing you could release from your damn Fatal after charging energy for the ten seconds or something like IMMA FIRING MA LAZAAAR

I completely agree with you. This has to happen.

 

I really don't care about the visuals, but it would be nice to make it visually pleasing like add sparks or something.
Thunder powder has the best damage to neutral cost ratio out of every powder. If that were the case, then shouldn't the chain lighting deal at least more damage? If we shouldn't add more damage, then at least put a crit multiplier (weakness effect) for thunder damage.

 

I feel like all of the powder specials,barring fire and water, are incredibly weak, possibly because they aren't affected by attack damage multipliers from what I've seen. and the damage boost is broken on the wind prison.

 

1. Yeah Ik but imo it kinda hard to see tho, so I would maybe just add some particle effects, like courage's particle effects
   

 

You can do all kinds of dirty comboes with the air special though, like throwing your enemy in lava.
