World Account Linking!

    Have you ever wanted to play as your old account but forgot the info? Well cry no more!
    Introducing,

    Account Linking!

    The way this works is you do /account link (account a) (account b)

    Account A is the account linked to the forums. Now both accounts share info, and account A keeps the stats. This way if an account is stolen, you got your backup and are safe.

    So now both accounts share the same stats


    Now how does this work? Simple!
    Each account has an API, and in the API is the accounts name. Just make a way for account A's api to hold 2 names, and delete account Bs api!

    Also, if one of the 2 linked accounts are on, the other cant go on. We can do this by making it search the names on the api upon login.

    Any1 with me?

    No, because then you would have duplicate accounts and some players can abuse this to duplicate items or levels

    That makes no sense. Account A's stats stay. account B's stats are deleted.

    The way I read it was that you link to mc accounts right?
    That means you have 2 of the same account.

    There are three acounts
    First is your forum account
    Second is your in game account
    Third is your in game alt
    Both in game accounts are linked to the forum

    If something happens to one account you could click a magic button and the main getd banned and all the character information gets moved to the alt.

    Personally it just sounds like an expensive duping process to me

    this is why i dont support:
    1. There's a loophole. You said that if we lose Account B, we can keep our stuff on Account A. You also said Account B's progress is eliminated. This means that if we lose account a, its basically game over
    2. This isnt useful if you happen to lose both accounts
    3. @XavierEXE uses his alt for other classes so rip his progress
