General Make Dxp Effect Quests

I know you guys say its against the Minecraft EULA But my reccomendation is something old that i think would work.

The Nether, A few years ago there was VIP Town and You could win gold coins from the nether and well thats exactly what im suggesting we bring back (not vip town). But instead of just winning GC from the nether you could win loot bombs, Xp Bombs, Double loot bombs as well, Also If DXP Could Effect quests again that would be nice because even though you added more quests now we have to grind a lot more.

Let me know if this could work or not if it doesn't tell me why and ill try to see if i can make it work!

 

IT's not..... They just removed it bc they didn't want ppl to worry about getting the most XP out of quests.... Which is dumb.... It's so hard to level w/o dxp effecting quests

 

itd be nice but being able to level 10 times from one quest isnt exactly balanced

 

Thats true it is hard to level without dxp thats why im saying it could be common to win dxp bombs and maybe even win multiple

A: Its affect, not effect.

B: Quests already give quite a bit of xp, and I can usually grind the remaining xp for a level up in the same time it takes me to do a quest

 

It was removed because it was kind of stupid how it felt like a waste if you DIDN'T complete quest with double XP bombs. So we just doubled quest XP overall and disabled the XP bomb multiplier. If double XP worked on quests again with their current values, it'd just be plain OP.

Maybe your right but i think adding rewards to the nether fights would be a great idea what about you?

 

But that was on other classes.... I usually don't see people playing their first class rushing through quests and looking for DXP servers

 

Apparently having Gold Coins in the Nether was against EULA so I imagine making any sort of donator items also able to be gained through the Nether would be the same way.

Eh, even without other classes, once players find out about XP bombs, they'll basically only do quests on double XP. Which is kind of stupid, it basically encourages players not to play the game until they can find a server with double XP. The game's progression shouldn't be ruled by XP bombs for 90% of the players.

 

So its against the EULA to get in game currency by playing the game??

 

At least make xp armor affect it ;-;

 

If said currency is also acquired through donations, yeah I think so.

Nah, because then it's the same problem. People try and get their best XP gear just for the sake of completing quests, basically allowing them to get through the game twice as fast. XP bonus is just meant to be a nice little bonus, not a way of blazing through the game like that.

 

Thank you for your feedback, however this won't be changed. Per reasons @Tantibus said up there.
This is also unrelated to the EULA we removed DXP for quests for progression reasons.
It simply made the game too easy to play and we don't want a cakewalk.
We are also not bringing GC back in any capacity, you will be able to find out how to get things that were previously buyable with GC shortly.
