General Wynncraft Rule Changes And Suggestions

Alright, I figured should make a thread about changing or improving some of the rules. Changes will be in orange. Rules I left out don't really need a change, I think. If you have any suggestions or comments, let me know down below. I tried to make these the best I can.

Game Rules

1. No hacking/hacked clients.
(ex. fly hacking, aimbotting/killaura, water walking, xray, entity tracker, speed hacking & possession of a hacked client, even when not in use.) Modded clients are allowed as long as they do not give you any gameplay advantages. Minimaps are allowed only if the player and entity functions are turned off.

3. Do not abuse bugs, glitches or exploits.
(Leaving the map, obtaining illegal items from outside the map, duping , abusing a glitched NPC, intentionally lagging the server, and bypassing restricted areas. Also included is bypassing territory cool-down. ) If you think you found a bug, please report it to the Issue Tracker here. If you have found a serious issue, such as a duplication glitch, please contact us at [email protected] and do not report it to the Issue Tracker nor share it with anyone. If we do find that you have shared an exploit, you might be at risk.

8. Do not scam players.
(Selling something that is grossly overpriced, tricking someone into buying an item that was not promised.)

(***Example 1: Selling something that is grossly overpriced, tricking someone into buying an item that was not promised, selling NPC bought items for more then what NPCs sell them for, and selling something to someone for their asking price if their asking price is worth more then the item in question. Lying about an item's worth, such as saying a unique is worth 10 stacks of LE, just to get a sale isn't allowed. )

Selling something to someone for their asking price or accepting offers of considerable magnitude if your or their asking price is worth more or less then the item in question is allowed as we expect our players to research the price of the item in question beforehand. Lying about an item's worth, such as saying a unique is worth 10 stacks of LE, and trying to force a sale isn't allowed. )

(( Note: I tried to word the examples to the best of my ability. If you have an issue with the wording, please let me know. The main idea behind this potential change is to make the rule more specific and clearer so everyone could understand it. ))

12. Player Made Invasions
(Leading mobs towards a city with the intent to kill AFK players within the city, also includes leading mobs towards people that are “safe” in order to get them killed. Lastly, this also includes pushing players into unsafe areas to get them killed or stuck. )

13. Buying in-game items.
(Using real life money to purchase something in-game from another player, includes selling/buying store items for items found in-game.)

14. Ban Evasion
(If you are banned, you are not permitted to use an alternate account to continue to play. You are allowed to use alternate accounts if you are not banned. )

Forum/Shoutbox Rules

4. No Alternate accounts/owning more than 1 account.
(Includes sharing accounts, and guild accounts. You are responsible for your own account. This does not include Minecraft accounts.)

7. Like bombing/Asking for likes.
(Liking a friend’s content with the intent of getting their like count up or with the intent of spamming them with alerts.)

13. Giveaways
(They are also allowed; donation pools, regular items, lotteries, and under 32EB are not allowed for giveaways. Video giveaways that require the user to like and/or subscribe to be entered are also not allowed.)

16. Necroposting
(Posting on a thread that hasn't been replied to in 30 days or more for no legitimate reason that isn't yours. The OP can request for an unlock.)

Instead of naming them "Options," make them "Examples"? It sounds like these are options you can take, instead of ones you aren't supposed to, if that makes sense.

Selling npc bougth items for more then the npc sell it for should be allowed. If I find someone in rodoroc that want a ragni scroll shouldn't I be able to sell it for over 16E? + scroll merchants sell other town scrolls for a higher price, should we ban the scroll merchants?

 

Some of them are alright, but most are just too wordy to put on.

 

Could you tell me which ones? I think I know what they are, but just to be sure...

eh scrolls are a bit weird... I'll think of something.
