World New Skill

I think that a good idea would be to have mines that you can go to and upgrade a mining skill(kind of like runescape). You could have different tiers of picks that could mine different ores from around the world of Wynn and Gavel. With these ores you could take them and sell them to a new type of NPC located only in Mining towns. you could trade these ores for emeralds. Another cool thing that you could add with the mining of ores is that you could make it so where you have a chance to find unidentified items. NOTE- there would only be certain places where these ores would spawn. and they would respawn over time.

Here are a list of skills that would revolve around that type of game-mechanics as seen above
-Woodcutting
-Mining
-Fishing
-Smithing

 

This is like a shit ton on the faction level servers out there. It also doesn't fit with wynn. Mining in a mmo with spells and stuff?

I think its a good Idea to give players different ways to go about they Wynn and Gavel Adventures. Plus, there could be new quest having to do with the new skills. Rewards may be special or exclusive items like dungeon weapons.

 

This will never be added unless you add more detail, like... alot more detail.

 

This doesn't fit the Wynncraft play style and would require too much adaptation and work for little-to-none amusement... Seriously... You can go fight some badass bosses and get OP gear or you can mine your ass off in a mine... Which do you choose?
