No More Nerf Mage Posts

You really can't yolo-rush endgame bosses with assassin though, your hp with be destroyed pretty quickly. I tend to do the old vanish->spin attack-> mulithit-> repeat while a friend takes the aggro of everything else/hits me up with some support

Ethereal would be bad in general, it would be best to use Lunar

Mage being overpowered isn't a fact it's an opinion. I can say you are wrong as much as I want, because I believe you are wrong. I do not, by any means, believe you are right. You do not hold the right to tell me what I am allowed to think. I think you are completely wrong, I never will claim you are correct, because I do not think you are. There is absolutely no problem with the class in my eyes.

I do not agree with you what-so-ever. Do not tell me that I "know you're right", because I think you're completely wrong.

 

I think everything about Mage is balanced other than heal. It shouldn't be an instant big heal that can save your life without fail and I'm sorry, no, extremely sorry for sounding rude. I'm just saying that I know I can't make you think anything you don't want to and I'm sorry for trying to. I should respect your opinion. Although we know it will be changed, as said by salted, I will from now on respect your opinions and stop telling you to think a certain way.

 

It's not a huge heal, the lower you are the less health you get back. I die often even sometimes fighting enemies lower than I am.

 

I don't know if you played pre gavel but if you did you probably remember that the heal was more spread out across the three pulses. That made heal the closest thing to a regen potion, it made it possible to be a tank mage by casting heal and charging into battle knowing that it doesn't matter if you get danaged, as long as you aren't dead by the next pulse you are invincible.

 

Back to the actual post itself:
If you don't like threads suggesting Class Buffs/Nerfs, then don't seek them out.

Sure, they're kind of annoying and clutter up the General Suggestions sub-forums, but suggesting that users be punished for not knowing better is only going to be harmful in the end.

It's like saying that if you make a suggestion that won't be implemented in the game ever, then you should be permanently banned from the forums for coming up with such preposterous garbage that makes others irritated by how complex it is.

 

Oh I played then and Mage did suck. I'm just saying that heal does need a change in my opinion and even though the changes stated are not the best I still think it should get a change to make it less easy to play the class

 

Archers are a perfect counter to mages while mages counter assassin perfectly.

Actually its just as hard to get the good builds for all classes.

Salted didn't agree with you, for all you know he might have meant that heal will stop healing allies.

But heals for half of your current health, and no one casts heal when they have full health, you are complaining about tank mages with 20k hp that can heal themselves for more hp than your glass build has.

Hint: to take out assassin just be an average mage.
Hint: to take out mage just be an average archer.

Then don't fight mages, mages have great aoe attacks that render vanish useless.

Tbh archets have a stronget nuke that doesn't have a fuse so in a 1v1 they win.

 

Arrow bomb requires HUGE amounts of luck to have their nuke do more damage than a mage's to one person, and unlike mages archers don't have the survivability to spam it carelessly

 

Ok salted didn't directly agree with me but he has a similar idea I think. If heal helping others was removed Mage would no longer be a support class anyways.


I know that mage's counter assassin and I know that you should avoid mage's if you are an assassin but I was just saying that assassin can't beat Mage easily to the person I quoted before

 

It is obvious that yes you don't heal when you have full health also what do you mean "your glass build" 20k health mage or not an instant spam-able heal is very powerful in Pve and Pvp it makes a 5k health mage be able to take hard hits many times well over 5k. As a mage user and archer user I know that archer can indeed one shot mage at times but it is still important to note how incredibly strong at Pve mage is compared to archer, warrior, and assassin. My only nerf request is a slower heal such as rapid regeneration instead.

 

Tbh if you cant one shot a 5k player you are doing something wrong.

Well I'm mainly talking about pve you can get hit so many times and simply heal in pvp you can take over 5k damage such as get hit ten times by 1k hits, on the other hand a warrior any damage he takes is not as easily recovered. Mages can take more hits than pretty much any classes along as they aren't one shotted it think this is quite noticeable in pve where pretty much everything can't one shot you.

In pve spamming heal is a horrible tactic as it only makes you live for a while longer while more mobs keep spawning as your manna depletes

 

No one is gonna stop their posts because someone said to, this area of the forums lets any forums member who is not banned post on it, and make their suggestions public. People shouldn't be stopped from posting the content they want if it is allowed.
