Buffing Warrior Class And Fixing Defense

The warrior class is too weak compared to mages and archers. With class being majorly weak against all classes we are currently the weakest. I chose warriors because I thought I had a chance to fight evenly against archers and mages. The result as a level 77 warrior I got killed by a lvl 59 archer. Warriors require major buffs to be able to fight evenly against archers and mages. Also the defense skill should be fixed. It still only blocks neutral damage it doesn't even work against elemental damage. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS SYSTEM!!! Please write your opinions down below.

Let me guess. The warrior was using adamantite for tankiness, and the archer was destroying him with infinity.

 

I dont take damage from almost any mobs and I can do 15k uppercut,looks like warrior is trash and it really needs a buff.

It doesn't matter, every dmg dealed on u will automatically x0.8, the original def 'did' the thing.
def skills supposes reduce all dmg I agree. But warrior has the 0.8 multi is still an advantage.

 

the def skill is just an illusion, it really does gives you armor that have a lot of health which shows how much def you have.

also, elemental def is a complicity another kind of def, which blocks the elemental dmg you're supposed to take

please next time check what you're using before saying buff (insert class name here)

 

It just made archer like the dmg receive 1.4 multi isn't a disadvantage anymore.

 

I was trying to create a fire build on warrior.

 

No, like, what armor, weapon, etc.

 

Level 77...
The Forgery, Millenium, Ectoplasm, Anchoryl/Sodeta Boots? and there's a rare fire spear at that level too, I forget the name. If not, Fierte can still hold up. Go earth/fire/water and you can throw Ik-El-Van in as well.

 

Warrior is arguably the most balanced class in Wynncraft.
It doesn't need a buff/nerf.

If you lose to a level 59 archer, your build just sucks. I think warrior is the 2nd best class, why would it need a buff?

 

Coming from a class design perspective, all the classes are balanced.
Mostly, like 90% balanced

I keep my balance suggestions to myself

Impressive considering most games are around the 40-70 range in my opinion

 

I really think warrior is fine, considering the opinions of everybody here, and it really doesn't matter what class you are, you need the right build and play style and items to make anything count.

 

I agree, warriors are to weak against other classes. Ranged mobs, not a big problem, ranged players, you're dead. Archers can kill a warrior before they get a chance to move, mage can do the same, and assassin is a semi-fair match.

Here's the roles I think the classes should play:

Warrior: Up front tank, defend other damage dealers and draws enemies.

Archer: Provides ranged support, helping to defend the melee players.

Mage: Heal and support friends and debuff opponents.

Assassin: Deal damage without notice, get behind enemies and destroy them.

Sadly, warrior can't fill that role to well as it its, so my idea is provide warriors with a bit of ranged damage resistance.

 

And thus the biggest lie in wynncraft history began.

I've beaten pretty much every warrior I've fought besides @Battleslay1000 , and even then it wouldn't be too hard to spam poison touch smoke bombs at him until he dies.

 

I didn't say it was fair, but it's semi-fair because the assassin is mainly melee. Assassin will still probably win.

As for the thread itself it's not so much warrior needing a buff, it's mage and archer needing nerfs
