A Change To Some Thunder Weapons

I personally love what aspects the Thunder element represents, and I want to make cool builds out of them. Life Steal? Poison? Mana Steal? DOUBLE DAMAGING CRITS? It's awesome! But there's something I don't like which 95% of all thunder weapons have in common...
Massive damage ranges.

While it is cool to make luck an important aspect of an element and build, I don't like having to wish upon my every spin attack or bomb arrow that I do 10K instead of 3K. So, to put it simply, can we have a few remotely reliable Thunder weapons?

I believe there are already quite a few fairly reliable Thunder weapons; however, the ones that are really Thunder representative (Mythics and end-game Legendaries) generally have to have massive ranges to show their element's colors, so to speak.

 

You can always do something like, add thunder powders to neutral damage weapons like Predposledni, Infused Hives, Alazarin (equipment like that)
and it is able to also transform some minimal neutral damage into minimal thunder damage. Although something like luck may be too big of a factor for thunder-element weapons, these neutral damage weapons can serve as a great extra.

but sure maybe several thunder weapons with a tinier gap in between thunder damages will be fine

 

Thunder weapons usually are very fast and are made mostly for assassin and archer who's main damage spells do a lot of rapid hits, meaning the damage variation evens out quickly.

As much as I would love this in game as an air/thunder build user myself, thunder is meant to be the 'luck' element. Can have massive damage or very little, But the attack speed resolves this problem.

 

But thunder powders also have large ranges like 10-50

Whether or not it is the luck element, not every weapon has to be dependent on that

 

You're not supposed to use a pure 1 element build .-. As I said in my original post, using air as a more reliable damage output plus the walk speed you'll get will be more powerful than just suing one element

Well you could, but powders discourage it through the way they apply their passive buffs, and with mobs and their elemental defences, using 1 element would put you at a disadvantage

 

Thunder is great, even with the HUGE range of damage. It is typically very quick, and if you have a medium dexterity you don't worry about the damage to much( if the item is 0- 20 lightning damage and you have a good amount of dexterity youl never get 0, and due to the dexterity you will probably get ALOT of double damage hits)(also try some thunder powder

I also think they should change the thunder powder ability. It barely does damage, and I don't even notice it.

 

All builds are supposed to be viable.
