did you even read my post? "SMALLER SERVERS" hypixel is fucking massive so ofc they made money off ads. Nobody is gonna advertise on a server with something like 200 players daily when they can advertise on a server with over 10000 visists daily

Hey, I don't want my thread to start spontaneously combusting, so if you could please make your own thread addressing your issue or take it to a private message with Slime or whoever you want, that would be appreciated.

    A. There's a reason why Mojang gave everyone OVER A YEAR to change their servers
    B. It's possible to do other jobs while making a server. Wynncraft started off as a side project for craftedmovie, and the revenue from both helped grow wynn. Also
there's a thing called sponsership. And Zentrela is literally being worked on by one guy as a side project.
    Will do

this makes no sense? the fact that the had to adapt is due to them also having a "pay2win" format perviously. they got big because they made money and could invest. they wouldnt have to adapt if they were in line with the eula in the first place. so no. once again. the eula is too harsh

your point A basically said that they cant make money from the server. nice.

If the EULA was too harsh, then why would smaller servers be thriving?
I've played at least a dozen servers where there are only about 20 players on at once, and yet they still have the ability to create new gamemodes extremely quickly, as well as do the whole survival thing

This is a well made, well designed thread.

+1 Support! Though, remember that also selling stuff like Wybel Plushies or maybe Wynncraft items which could bring revenue to the game.

EDIT: I can ask my father who has worked with Disney and Activision. He does finance and could have some ideas.

Anyways, how about we actually talk about the suggestion itself and not whether or not EULA is ruining minecraft

It's not GC though so it is EULA compliant. That's what they are going for.

It's set at a baseline and is upgraded by buying the higher tiers. Upgrading from a lower tier to a higher tier costs the price difference (as expected). Pay a little more to get a little more. Sort of like an investment. It's hard to explain, hehe, but I hope you know what I mean.
