    So, I made a quest!
As simple as that, I guess.

I used what the GMs like to call them:
-- Pre-Quest for interacting before their part of the quest starts.
-- Repeat for interacting again after the dialog.
-- Fallback for interacting again after their part of the quest ends and before quest completion.
-- Greet for interacting after quest completion.

    Quest: Cactus Frenzy
    Level Requirement: 36
    Difficulty: Medium
To Start: Talk to Acctsu in Rymek Bazaar.

Acctsu should be a female human villager, standing near Pacap's Cactus-y Goods stand. I don't know why Rymek has only male citizens, nor do I want to know.
    2016-09-13_16.51.07.png
    (1299, 31, -1258)

    Pre-Quest:
[1/1] Acctsu: He's still missing... How can I ---- Oh, I do have some problems here, but you are not able to bring him back until you're Lvl 36.

Step 1: Talk to Acctsu in Rymek Bazaar.
[1/6] Acctsu: He's still missing... How can I ---- Oh, hi, adventurer. Yes, I do have some problems here.
[2/6] Acctsu: You see, my, em, husband, Pacap, owner of this stand right here, has been missing for a long time.
[3/6] Acctsu: Yes, I know, his stand here hasn't opened for two years... He always return home with empty hands.
[4/6] Acctsu: However, this time, it's more than a lack of cactus. Two weeks ago, he set out to search for cactus again, but he never returned after that.
[5/6] Acctsu: So, adventurer, as I plead you, please find my husband. Our family cannot survive without his business.
[6/6] Acctsu: I don't know about the desert, but the guard north of town might know something.

    Repeat:
[1/1] Acctsu: Have you found any clues yet?

Rymek Guard should be positioned near the north entrance of Rymek, and looks just like a regular Rymek citizen. Maybe with armors.
    2016-09-13_16.52.19.png

    Pre-Quest:
[1/1] Rymek Guard: Back off! I'm on duty here!

Step 2: Talk to the guard at the north entrance of Rymek.
[1/6] Rymek Guard: What do you want from me, kid? It'd better be something important, I'm on duty here!
[2/6] Rymek Guard: Who? Pacap? Never heard of that guy. You have come to the wrong man to ask.
[3/6] Rymek Guard: Wait, you mean the cactus guy? Huh, no idea why you'll waste time on such a loser.
[4/6] Rymek Guard: I know one place he might have been. I'll tell you, but don't even ask how I got it.
[5/6] Rymek Guard: Some kiddos dug under an old barrack in the desert to do stuffs with cactus. I'll write down the coordinates in your quest book.
[6/6] Rymek Guard: Pretty sure he's been there these days. Now get away from me, I got serious business!

    Fallback:
[1/1] Rymek Guard: Why are you still there? Go waste your time somewhere else!

    Greet:
[1/1] Rymek Guard: Told you not to waste time on that loser! Now go mind your own business!

Step 3: Investigate the old barrack at (1368, 77, -1968).
    2016-09-13_16.56.30.png

There could be a little puzzle in the barrack, or just a button, to open up a small door at the back of the first floor of the barrack, which leads into the basement of the barrack.

After you go through the hidden door:
[1/1] ???: Intruder! How dare you enter? Get out of here, RIGHT! NOW!

If you go through the hidden door pre-quest, you'll be teleported back with the message,
[1/1] ???: Hey, get your toes out of there! Where do you think you're wandering into?

Barrack basement/Cactus market should be an underground space under the old barrack decorated pretty much like the part above ground, with proper lighting, and LOTS of cactus, both item-frame and real blocks.
The middle should be an relatively open space with some stands just like the ones in Rymek. Of course, they're all cactus-themed.
On the side of the basement there should be small individual rooms, or cells, with tables and chairs, probably water source and definitely cactus.
Lvl 32 passive NPC Cactus Trader, Lvl 32 melee neutral NPC Cactus Bandit spawn in the area. The Cactus Bandits should be relatively easy to defeat, with like 600 health.
There should be also one special Lvl36 melee hostile NPC Frenzied Bandit with also 800 health and hits harder than Cactus Bandits.
All NPCs in this basement looks just like the bandits near Rymek and in the Invaded Barracks.

NPC: Market Guard looks like a bandit, similar to all other NPCs in the room. He is located in the middle of the marketplace.

Step 4: Ask the Market Guard about Pacap.
[1/4] Market Guard: Hey, you! Haven't I told you to leave? You certainly know nothing about our power!
[2/4] Market Guard: And I'm going teach you a lesson here! Prepare to ----
[3/4] Market Guard: Ouch! Hey, that hurt! Alright, alright, put your weapon down. I'll tell you everything!
[4/4] Market Guard: But my information comes with a price! Bring me [3 Green Powder I] for that!

    Repeat:
[1/1] Market Guard: You won't get a word from me without the [3 Green Powder I]!

Step 5: Give [3 Green Powder I] to the Market Guard.
[1/8] Market Guard: Ahhh! That's it! That fresh smell of cactus!
[2/8] Market Guard: Wait, don't you know? Cactus is a great source of green powders!
[3/8] Market Guard: I don't know how that guy did the magic. We give him cactus, he gives back powders, in change for more cactus.
[4/8] Market Guard: We literally live on him. Those powders he manufactured are like a glimpse of paradise. So what are you here for?
[5/8] Market Guard: You're here for Pacap? Oh man, do you know the magic behind his craft?
[6/8] Market Guard: No? Well how disappointing... We also haven't seen him for a while.
[7/8] Market Guard: None of us know his purpose. He never, well, entertain with us.
[8/8] Market Guard: Maybe he simply want to enchant equipments? That is all I know, I have no idea where he might be right now.

    Repeat:
[1/1] Market Guard: That is all the information I have! Really!

Step 6: Return to Acctsu to report about her missing husband.
[1/5] Acctsu: Have you found any clues about him?
[2/5] Acctsu: What? Powders? Underground market? If he really have all there powders, and the techniques to craft them...
[3/5] Acctsu: Why didn't he tell us? But let us wait in vain here?
[4/5] Acctsu: Wait... Might he be crafting the ultimate weapon for me, em, us?
[5/5] Acctsu: I have no idea, but you should ask Thims. He's the owner of the weapon shop here.

    Repeat:
[1/1] Acctsu: Have you found out where he's gone?

NPC: Thims is an blacksmith human villager located near the weapon merchant in Rymek.
    2016-09-13_16.50.26.png
    (1261, 31, -1351)

    Pre-Quest:
[1/1] Thims: Have a look at one of the finest collection of weapons in Wynn!

Step 7: Talk to Thims about Pacap's weapon.
[1/1] Thims: Hi, adventurer! Wanna try some of the finest-crafted weapons in the whole province?
[2/2] Thims: Pacap? Who's that? Oh, you're saying the cactus guy aren't ya.
[3/3] Thims: Unfortunately, he did not purchase any weapon from me, ever. I doubt if he can ever afford one.
[4/4] Thims: I heard he's up to something in the desert, but that's all I know. You should find some clues elsewhere.

    Fallback:
[1/1] Thims: No, I don't know where Pacap is! Someone might have the clue though, but definitely not me!

    Greet:
[1/1] Thims: Welcome back! Why not have a look at the ultimate weapon for your journey?

Step 8: Talk to the Market Guard again.
[1/1] Market Guard: Hey, you're back! How's it going?
[2/2] Market Guard: More information? No, bro, I told you that's all I know about him!
[3/3] Market Guard: How am I supposed to gather information from such a mysterious man who hasn't been seen for weeks?
[4/4] Market Guard: Every once in a week or so, he'll appear in here, takes all the cactus back to his lab, and return at dusk with a cart full of powders.
[5/5] Market Guard: Wait, the lab! I almost forgot that! He has a lab in a cave just somewhere south of here!
[6/6] Market Guard: We once tried to enter, but the entire lab is just horrifying! Moving cactus every where!
[7/7] Market Guard: Maybe you can find him there! But there'll be a lot of obstacles though... Don't say I didn't warn ya!

Cactus Storage is a cave, with its entrance around the patch of cactus just south of the barracks.
    2016-09-13_16.58.34.png
    (1365, 76, -1916)
The major part of this dungeon-type cave should be in a separate region, only allow entrance and exit through two teleporters at the start and the end of the dungeon.
The first part of this cave should be an overgrown cave with cactus, kind of like slime cave, but a little bit less sticky and much more prickly. Lvl 35 ranged hostile NPC Animated Cactus (Cactus item) with low health, fast speed, throws cactus item at the player, and deal moderate earth damage, but is vulnerable to fire, spawns in this area.
The second part of this cave is an cactus-overgrown barn-lab hybrid, with lot's of storage, and traces of experiments. Animated Cactus, along with Lvl 36 melee hostile NPC Cactus Golem (Invisible creature with grenn-dyed leather armor and cactus block as hat) with high health, low speed, deals high earth damage, vulnerable to fire, spawns in this area.
The third part of this cave is Pacap's Lab, a circular white & blue but still cactus themed arena. The mini boss, Prickly Guardian, Spawns in this area. Prickly Guardian is a melee hostile creature with gold armor and a cactus on it's head. It is lvl 37, have 4000 health, with moderate speed, deals high earth and water damage, and vulnerable to fire. It possess the charge II skill. Prickly Guardian drops the untradable item Cactus Key, an cactus block. You can throw it into a hopper in the arena to open the door to Pacap's living chamber.
Pacap's living chamber, the last part of the cave, is simply a moderately large bedroom sort of place. There will be cactus anywhere (still), and a table, a chair, a creeper head, and a Diary NPC on the table which we'll talk about later.

If you try to enter the Cactus Storage before this step, it will teleport you out and say:
A wall of cactus suddenly grows from the side, blocking your path into the cave.

Step 9: Enter the Cactus Storage.
    (When you enter the cave)
The green spiked wall on the side moves like waves in the ocean. The cave is alive!
(When you open the door to the living chamber)
The whispers in the air finally dissipates. What secrets lie behind the door?

Diary is a book item NPC dropped on the table in Pacap's Living Chamber. When interacted with, will present the player Pacap's Diary.

Step 10: Read the diary on the table.
After so many failed attempts, I finally found the way to escape all this!
With this perfect set of armor, I can sneak under the guard's eyes, became one of them, and live a life of freedom and happiness!
I feel sorry for those guys under the barrack. Failed products can, well, introduce some hallucination. But that's what they asked for.
Failure products can also became self-aware. That's not within the plans, but who cares, soon I'll be out of this place!

It's not time to pity them. Soon I will be with the mythical legends forever. No, I will be one of the mythical legend forever!
The travel tomorrow to the ravine will be a harsh one, I'd better get some rest. Maybe I can also collect a few gunpowder on my way.

Suspicious Creeper (who is Pacap) is a creeper located somewhere inside creeper's hideout. If we can have a cow as an NPC, why not a (human-disguised-as) creeper NPC?

    Pre-Quest:
    [1/1] Suspicious Creeper: sssssssssss...

    Step 11: Locate Pacap.
    [1/9] Suspicious Creeper: sssssssssss...
[2/9] Suspicious Creeper: Why are you ssssstaring at me? Don't you sssssee I'm a creeper?
[3/9] Suspicious Creeper: No, I'm not Pacap. I don't know him.
[4/9] Suspicious Creeper: Wait, Acctsssssu sssssent you here? Why isssss ssssshe looking for me?
[5/9] Suspicious Creeper: OK, I am Pacap. I am jussssst ssssso tired of being roared at all day. Ssssshe hasssss never sssssmiled to me.
[6/9] Suspicious Creeper: Not even once in thessssse yearsssss! I have to go, I have to find freedom.
[7/9] Suspicious Creeper: There isssss no turning back for me. Take thisssss weapon and give it to Acctsssssu. That can help her forget me for a long time.
[8/9] Suspicious Creeper: Just tell her I'm ssssstill misssssing. Well, ssssshe don't care about me anyway, asssss long asssss ssssshe got the money.
[9/9] Suspicious Creeper: Thank you, adventurer. But I guesssss creepersssss are better companionsssss for me.

Pacap will give you an Quest item Legendary dagger named Spiked Hallucination, which does no damage at all, gives crazy earth damage and defence bonus, have no slots, and inflicts negative poison on the enemy. I know Quest items should be avoided, but I can't thought of another way to prevent players from throwing things.

    Fallback:
    [1/1] Suspicious Creeper: Go, now.

    Greet:
    [1/1] Suspicious Creeper: ssssssssss...

Step 12: Return to Acctsu with the weapon.
[1/1] Acctsu: You have returned! have you found my husband?
[2/2] Acctsu: No? *Sob* What a pity... How am I going to survive...
[3/3] Acctsu: Wait... What is that you're giving me? Could it be...
Acctsu grabs the weapon from your hand.
    [4/4]
Acctsu: I knew it! He is making the ultimate weapon for me! Ahahaha! I'm... em, we're going to be rich!
[5/5] Acctsu: You have done enough for us, I will continue to try finding him myself! Thank you, adventurer!
[6/6] Acctsu: Here, take some of my savings. You deserve it.
[7/7] Acctsu: Eww, and what's that greenish prickly thing on here? Well that's gross, you could also have it, I guess I won't need it anyway.

    Greet:
[1/1] Acctsu: Thanks to you, adventurer, I'm rich now! A bright future is waiting for me!

I have been thinking about this quest for a long time. Back when I'm a lvl40-ish mage I noticed this empty stand in Rymek Bazaar, and it's still empty after two major updates. This fact can definitely have some attention, so I made this quest!
And creepers, no one talks about them except in Creeper Infiltration and Temple of Legends quests. That just feels a bit unfair to them. Consider how cute they actually are!
Anyway, thanks for viewing the thread. Remember to vote, and leave a like if you like :p

Some of the things are really, really, random. Creepers popping out of nowhere, some shit happening in the barracks, and a "Ultimate Weapons".

Yeah, the ultimate weapon part can be changed.
But I don't see the randomness. Creepers are not popping out of nowhere. Cactus can be made in to green dye, which is green powder here, and green powder is used to make creeper masks. If you actually go to the stand in Rymek, you'll see what I mean. Or just look at my screenshot.

    TL;DR:
Gives you a tradable thorns chestplate.

Why would he want to live in a confined cave with a crazed scientist and a species that has been slaughtered to near extinction? Couldn't he just rent a nice home in detlas with drug bucks or live with other scientists? And how would he know about creepers? Most of the quest is fine except for the ending which felt so out of place. Why? How? The simplest solution would be to add a bit more flavor text to the diary and to other characters.

The creeper pat = 1/10, the rest 9 or 10/10.
The creeper part isn't good. THe creepers are a nearly extinct race, and the creeper hideout shouldn't be known. That's why it only has 2 quests. I think you should replace it.

This is just a fetch quest tbh. And waking all the way from Rymek to the desert is a bit annoying.
    The writing was okay!
And "repeat" is just used when the npc asks for an item.
"Fallback" is used when you talk to the npc after the quest book updates.
