Talk to Pheabe in the dark forest.
When you talk to her before level 61
[1/2] Pheabe: Sorry kid, you can't help.
[1/2] Pheabe: The Doppelganger's would slay you faster than you could say AAAAA!

When you talk to her to start the quest
[1/9] Pheabe: Hey! Aren't you one of those Wynn warriors?
[2/9] Pheabe: Great! wait a minuet...
[Pheabe pours a bottle of green goo on you, the fluid quickly dissolves]
[3/9] Pheabe: Phew... I thought you were a one of Them...
[4/9] Pheabe: Recently this part of the forest has been overrun with doppelganger's!
[5/9] Pheabe: My friend Aytrien lives on the edge of the forest and I'm worried about her safety...
[6/9] Pheabe: Can you please go and check if she's ok?
[7/9] Pheabe: I've written down the location of her house in you're book... Oh, But first you should go and get some Remedium...
[8/9] Pheabe: To brew this I need 3 items, A water bottle, a egg and some Kyaii leaves
[9/9] Pheabe: Kyaii Leaves can only be bought in Olux, so good luck getting them...
[Quest book updated: Go and collect all three items]

When you bring all of the items back to Pheabe
[1/2] Pheabe: Great! Now we just need to...
A burst of purple particles shoot from the player.

When you reach her house before the quest
You don't want to interrupt this girl making tea

When you go inside the house Aytrien is there.

[4/5] Aytrien: Whilst you're here can you help me with something?

When you go into the basement
The tea leaves are on the floor

When you look at the bookshelf there is a button hidden behind a flower pot
When pressed the bookshelf opens up like a door leading down a stone-brick passageway.
There are dead people lying all over the floor and hanging from chains. like in the dungeons!
The passage leads to a large room with a cadge hanging in the middle, there is a NPC called Aytrien in the cadge...
[1/6] Aytrien?: Thank goodness you found me!
[2/6] Aytrien?: That is NOT me upstairs! Please help me!!!
[3/6] Aytrien?: The creature upstairs is a Doppelganger! It trapped me down in my own basement and replaced me...
[4/6] Aytrien?: Its locked the cadge with powerful magic... Wait, did Pheabe send you?! So she must have given you something for me... Perhaps a bottle?
[5/6] Aytrien?: A bottle of remeidium! Yes! That's EXACTLY what we need to kill the creature!
[6/6] Aytrien?: When you go back up there, put some of it in its tea, it should kill it... Good luck!

When you go back upstairs Aytrien is already making the tea
[1/3] Aytrien: What took you so long? I already found some tea leaves...
[2/3] Aytrien: It doesn't matter anyway... Do you wan't some tea?
[3/3] Aytrien: Its just tea... What's the grumpy face for?

If you talk to Aytrien and poison her tea.
[1/4] Aytrien: Hmm? This isn't the best tea I've made...
[2/4] Aytrien: *Cough* Its really bad tasting...
[3/4] Aytrien: *Cough Cough* I don't feel good...
[4/4] Aytrien: I... I... Why... would you... He's... fake-
A Cut-scene shows Aytrien falling over, writhing around on the floor then vanishing into smoke
Then Aytrien from the basement runs up and stands exactly where Aytrien was.
[1/4] Aytrien: Thank you SO MUCH!
[2/4] Aytrien: I'm finally free from the cadge!
[3/4] Aytrien: How ever could I thank you?!
[4/4] Aytrien: You should probably go and talk to Pheabe...

When you talk to Pheabe

[3/5] Pheabe: What ever he told you, THAT WAS NOT CURE!!! The green potion... wasn't men't to be consumed...
[4/5] Pheabe: You killed the REAL Aytrien... YOU IDIOT!!!
[5/5] Pheabe: This... Can't be happening... You Must kill the doppelganger, bring back its head, I might be able to save Aytrien...

When you go back to Aytrien's doppelganger
[1/3] Aytrien: Hahaha, So you finally worked it out?
[2/3] Aytrien: Here's a better question... Do you wan't to be replaced?
[3/3] Aytrien: Because, you will.

The floor collapses and you fall into a dungeon, there is a raised platform in the middle where you land, the lowered floor is covered in fire.
Boss monster Aytrien's doppelganger spawns!

Walks 0.7 blocks every second

Drops 1 Dead Doppelganger's head

When you kill the boss you get teleported to Pheabe's house.

[4/6] Pheabe: I hope that worked...

Good quest idea!
But add some more stages

 

I added another stage, even if it is a very annoying one :p

 

Make a plot twist: the person in the basement is the doppelgänger, and releasing her causes havoc. Also, make them be corpus accipientises, since they are already existing shapeshifters.

 

We need to know where these doppelgangers come from, though.

 

Doppelgänger is a strange name how bout something else?

 

I originaly did this but then I read thru it and I relised it was WAY too long and complicated... RIP

Doppelganger is a mythical creature knowen for shapeshifting or copying someone else I think xD

 

I like the idea but the quest needs you travelling to a place where you kill doppelgangers to get a specific material that they drop, and you use it to defeat the doppelganger that's copying Aytrien. Also, what does the Doppelgangers melted eye do?

 

I just changed it back to the original post cos it wasn't long enuf before...

 

What is the green goo and remeidium? You haven't really explained what it is in the quest OR here... Also, you should explain what is a doppelganger in the quest. Overall, this suggestions needs more detail.

 

1- grammar
2- you can use gangers to make the name shorter, because doppelgänger is too long.
3- Change the title cuz it doesnt really fit the quest.
