The Canary Calls. Please Remove The Nausia

Ok this quest is fine but the nausia litterally made me feel sick.
Please remove the nausia affect from this quest.

It's meant to be like there's actual poisonous gas. It is supposed to make you feel sick.

 

The thing with Canary Calls is the basis of the quest is about how you can't enter this place because it makes you sick. If we remove the sickness then the story's just like "hey go into this cave that we say is bad, but you dont know that" and then its just a generic ass minidungeon-esque room.

 

can you force a pumpkin or the pumpkin fov onto a player and change it through the texture pack to have a huge fade to black on the outside?

 

O there* could be a mining helmet you need to wear "for safety" that is a pumpkin with a wierd filter

 

Can't force it/dont really have the rp space. We're still in 1.8 technically

See above, plus why would you wear a safety helmet and then still get sick.


We're currently debating just removing the quest completely if its honestly such an issue because the quest doesn't stand on its own without the gimmick. During testing we received 1/20 people on the CT complaining and no complaints from the beta.

 

If it gets if it's removed will the people who did it keep the XP..?

 

But can't you change the view whrn you're wearing a pumpkin?

You can change it to an hazmat mask that reduces the effects so you won't die but still get sick

Your xp isnt kept with tags from where you got it, all xp is the same. If they gonna remove xp they need to do it manually (or with a program)

 

I don't undertand completely. Will my XP be removed from my bar?

 

Well I aint a ct member but ima go with no, if the quest is removed you won't loose xp. I might be wrong tho.

 

I really hope you're right because I had to put effort into doing that minecart thing
