World Ignore Feature (54 Supporters)

Introduction

Sometimes when you are on World 1, you encounter really, really annoying people who keep spamming you with their shop link that takes up half your screen. When you ask them to stop, they never do and start acting like your typical cancerous Mincraft players.

Basically the Ignored List will function the exact same way the Friends list operates.

Conclusion

I know its the trading server, some people will get triggered but moderators state to post your link or advertise every 3 - 5 minutes, not every 30 seconds. It would be helpful just to ignore some people and also help with the moderators work load. Even if you don't think this is a problem, is there any good, valid reason not to do this?

Server 1 is where all the traders of the forums go to do business.
Just move to a different server.

Why tag people in the first place, this isn't an "expose people" thread. It's a suggestion thread.

Methods on how to ignore/avoid these things;

1. Switch servers

2. Actually ignore them

 

I'm pretty sure they know what they did, but it isn't something that's breaking the rules on an extreme level. calm down

 

Think about this:
You want to buy or sell something. You go to the most populated server.
Someone start spamming you.

C'mon, it's annoying

 

Besides, you aren't the only special trader. You have others also wanting to make business.

 

If you really want to be on server 1, just don't hang around Detlas, unless you are willing to buy an 80 le white horse.

But /ignore would be nice :P

 

Server 1 ain't only for shop keepers.
They may use this server to propagate their shops and itens, not to annoy you.

Who says they're trying to annoy you? They're propagating their shops and items. Just depends on what you find annoying.

I don't support the ignore command tbh.
If someone is causing trouble report them by either the command or a report on the forums.
But for trading and stuff it is expected that some servers are more for it than others.

 

You can't imagine how bad it is for mods, admins, YTrs, and even VIPs get tons of spam about people wanting stuff or begging for help.

I do agree that there should be a /ignore, but make it something for VIP+ to encourage more players to buy it. Admins, Mods and YTrs already have a /hide or /vanish, but normal players have nothing.

 

@Archmage Karma Well obviously S1 is the trading server, like I said, but sometimes someone spams too much and it becomes hard to follow all the trades going on.

@captainganon And also, I needed to sell stuff in S1, but I couldn't because everyone is spamming their links every 20 seconds. Its a little ridiculos. Just look at the last screenshot, that was literally in a 5 second time frame. And its also hard to ignore people when you need to be focused on the chat and there incessant spamming keeps drowning everything.

@3lite_ There isn't any point to be on S1 if you aren't going to trade in Detlas.

@Glitchedslayer 's idea could work. Just make it for VIP, VIP+ etc. A little perk they have, but still it should be available to everyone.

@Pretzule Would you be ok with going to every single server where someone is spamming or annoying someone? It would be far easier to just have a command to get them to stop bugging you. I'm sure wouldn't want to do that.

P.S: @Lusitano never spammed, I don't know why he was tagged. He was pretty much the only respectable one there.
