its true that the damage is the lowest out of the four classes but it doesn't really matter unless you are up against the hard bosses.

As of now, I don't really think it needs a nerf so much, but more of a rework. Something to change the gameplay mechanic of heal, because it is true that as of now, all you do is click 3 times and insta heals you (by a lot). In a battle, whether between player and player or between player and boss, the use of heal is able to be abused to the point where if a mage can't be 1 shot, then it becomes a really difficult task of killing that mage, especially with a mana regen build. Not much of a detailed solution, but maybe there could either be some delay, like a casting time to heal, or like some people are suggesting, break the heal into smaller heals that lasts longer and heals in intervals.

The mage is difficult to start with until you unlock meteor, then you can effectively do damage.

Clever cycling of elements can clear the Hive even underlevelled...until you get to Qira, that is. This is intentional. Having a squadron of Mages piggyback-riding you with their healing staves stabbed through your stomach, however, is NOT.

Instead of the number of supporters, you should put 30.1% support in the title-- much less misleading.

There's a reason why assassin requires 60 total levels to unlock.

Im not in the game very often nowadays, nor on the forums, but i happened to see the title of this thread and it caught my attention.

    Anyway...

    "Mage's Heal Needs a Nerf"
First of all, yes, a healing spell is quite powerful and probably has the highest impact for mana use in the game, especially as there is no need to aim either. However this is also the main spell a mage can focus around.
Teleport... basically a short range movement spell with minimal damage
Ice snake... Long range spell that slows opponents and knocks them back, but also low damage
Meteor... Mid to Long range spell with a good amount of damage, but also unreliable aim and more easily dodge-able than other classes' main damage spells

Having otherwise comparably "weak" spells, a mage needs either another damage spell, which would make it a too strong attacker, or a defensive spell such as heal, which gives it the possibility of surviving longer despite worse base stats than other classes.

As for "heal spamming" being too overpowered; Yes, heal spamming will grant the mage a longer time alive, however the mana spent on continually healing cannot be used to attack, and therefore a mage focused on heals cannot deal enough damage. And if somehow this mage is staying alive well as well as doing damage, this means you are being outplayed, and need to rethink your own strategies

    "Assassin needs a buff"
Well.. no. The change you are suggesting is a kind of smoke net to pull opponents towards you. Assuming this is the same range as a regular smoke bomb this simply allows the assassin to be basically a long range class, throwing these nets until he hits something, then right-clicking and effectively forcing the opponent into a close range battle.
I agree that assassins sometimes have trouble getting close to an opponent that knows how an assassin works and also notices particles on the ground, yet this is the downside to playing an assassin type character. Blocking the sneak is the only way for any other class to effectively beat an assassin, since once he is up close (especially if you are trapped against a wall) you have lost already.
Bringing in this smoke net idea, not only is the opponent of the assassin forced to take the smoke bomb damage as the net prevents his escape, but also has no means of avoiding a close encounter. New assassin strategy: sneak up close enough to hit the smoke bomb, then run into any corner of your choice, pull, and win.
