The Well Bats Need A Nerf

Anyone who has done either the quest for the Well Witch, or the quest that requires Bat Ears, knows just how overpowered the well bats are. They back you into a corner and you're DEAD. I'm level 23, with over 300 health, and I can't go down there without a full inventory of potions, or I'm not coming back alive. They back you into a corner and relentlessly hit you until you're dead, and with the combination of the knockback, you can't get out of the corner. They NEED to be nerfed.

 

I feel yah man. Though im not sure how others will respond...

 

Never died to bats.....

 

You don't die to them. They are jus really, really annoying for warrior.

 

I could do that quest as a level 18 mage with less than 100 health...

The amount of knockback they do is insane.....

 

Any melee class is fucked against them. Ranged classes will do fine.

 

Honestly the only class it really punishes is warrior. Assasian can vanish and chug mana potions, archer can just sniper, mage can cast spells from a distance, and warrior is fucked.

 

I can agree most annoying things on in wynn close but not as bad as jungle fetishs' those are the worst the LITERALY WORST

 

I am an ASSASSIN and they never bothered me when i was ur lvl

 

They are indeed dangerous but you can just ask a formed to help, you should also add a poll.

There's no "getting good" to it. If you're a warrior trying to fight them, you're completely screwed.

 

Get potions, better gear, lvl up a bit more, get a friend, etc.

 

You shouldn't need to be over-leveled with the best gear in the game to beat a level 18 quest.

 

No, no, no, you have it all wrong, we don't need to worry about the well bats here, the JUNGLE bats are the real problem on this server.

 

Just ask someone else to get them for you. If you're legitimately that concerned about it, level another class up and use it to get the ears. It's really not all that compicated.

Everyone who has told coreynj to "get good" is pretty mean, this is a very hard quest after all (for core's level anyway.) As for coreynj, yes, it's a problem, everyone (mostly everyone) had a hard time with that one. What I can recommend is just skipping that one until later. Once your higher level you can one shot them, or atleast you won't lose that much health. It's not a very important quest :)
