What'd you think of this class suggestion? Would you want to play it, should it ever be implemented?

    Might need a defence debuff...i dont feel safe arount a warrior and mage-like class that spams rain dance

    Weaknesses:
    -Terrible mobility
    -Mana costly
    -An assassin can beat it
    -Its lingering spell is slow
    -First spell is weak against players
    -2nd spell is almost useless against warriors, assassins, and possibly bosses
    -3rd spell is slow, easy to dodge
    -4th spell is mana costly, assassin can still use vanish
    -Bad melee damage
    -assassin can bypass all weaknesses due to spin attack
    -People will complain about your root spell



    Opness
    -4th spell can obliterate all class due to damage boost
    -High spell damage for a high defense class

    Strengths:
    -Crowd control
    -Mages it archers can't camp
    -First spell is useful for distractinf minions
    -able to deal damage
    -Mana and life steal can be good for 3rd spell
    -Root spell sounds fun
    -3rd spell can do damage and trap enemies
    -4th spell is useful for baiting enemies if your on a gang
    -Root is useful to for killing campers and freeing bosses from walls
    -1st spell is useful for baiting
    -Useful for baiting mobs and still able to do a good amount of damage
    -Good AoE

    Tactics:
    1.Don't spam spells
    2.don't use root on a warrior or assassin
    3.Melee classes are your enemy
    5.Use rain dance of dueling a warrior or assassin
    Idk what else


    Classes you can kill easily:
    Mages
    Archers

    Classes you have a hard time killing
    Assassins
    Warriors


    Suggestions:
    1.make the root spell a mobility spell to so players want get confused since the 2nd spell is usually mobility. Mabey if the root latches on a block, it would pull you towards it

    2.debuff defend

    3.Debuff rain dance


    Possible redskins
    1.Necromancer
    Renamed spells:
    -Call of the dead
    -Devils hand
    -Nightmare
    -Possessed

    2.Summoned beast
    Renamed spells
    -Manipulate
    -Chains if the beast
    -Shock
    -Pit of hell

    Also, yeah, I'm considering coming up with multiple re-skin ideas to see which one works best.

    I do have an idea for a reskin name. Now that I gave more thought at the Weaver, it does seem too different from the original skin of Shaman in terms of similarity and abilities.

    Alright, here's how I'm thinking about doing things.

    Base Stats -
    • Damage: 2 → 3
      • True Water damage bonus lessened/removed from Rain Dance; Cloudburst attack power buffed; Damage stat now more accurate
    • Defense: 4 → 2
      • Removed Shaman's defense bonus; now only has 90% of total defense
    • Range: 3 → 4
      • Area of effect for spells has been buffed to make matchups more controllable
    • Spells: 4 → 4
      • Spells have been altered to become more effective when dealing with Warriors and Assassins; In turn, they also have had a few balancing changes
    Totem Call -
    • New upgrade for Totem Call to replace Allegiance
      • + Clairvoyance, blinds enemies within 3 blocks of the user in a brilliant flash for two seconds + Inflicts Spectral on enemies & cancels Invisibility within 5 blocks of the user
    • Combine Allegiance upgrade with base spell, allowing the player to summon 3 entities upon usage at the start
    Root Frenzy -
    • Increase the width that Root Frenzy can connect to enemies with, but lower range by 1 block
    • (TBD) Add a mobility effect to Root Frenzy, which causes the user to voluntarily leap forward 5 blocks if an enemy is slain upon contact
    • (ALT/TBD) Add a mobility effect to Root Frenzy, which pulls the user sharply ahead 6 blocks if the roots do not come in contact with any enemies
      • Not sure about this, since missing a target could cause users to accidentally fling themselves in front of enemies if out-ranged or missed
    Will-o-Wisp -
    • Add a vortex effect to Will-o-Wisp, so when enemies are damaged by the firebolt, they are guaranteed to keep taking damage for 3 seconds, or until the firebolt dissipates
    • Increase range of Will-o-Wisp from 7 → 8 blocks
    • (BALANCE/TBD) Life Steal/Mana Steal now works twice per usage of Will-o-Wisp, and thrice if Nova Burst is unlocked
    Rain Dance -
    • Lessen the true Water damage bonus provided by Rain Dance from 10% → 5%
    • (ALT/TBD) Remove the true Water damage bonus from Rain Dance entirely
    • Increase Cloudburst damage from 150% → 175%
    • When activating Cloudburst, add a windup animation that depicts the rain intensifying/cloud getting darker/water particles swirling around the user/thunder cracking, which lasts for 2 seconds before the attack is unleashed
    Please tell me if this is better, or if there's anything I can do to improve.

    Also I guess I'll put this here for now:
    Totem Call → Elemental Spawn
    Root Frenzy → Arcane Laser
    Will-o-Wisp → Prismatic Core
    Rain Dance → Gold Chrysalis

    EDIT 1: Also, adding one more point to Spell makes the total Base Points to 14 instead of 13
    EDIT 2: I think "Spawn Elemental" should be switched around to "Elemental Spawn". I think it sounds cooler to the ears.

    Counter attacks:
    -If you miss on the root spell, dont worry. The spell would bring you closer to the enemy, so use a spell to throw them off guard.

    How can other classes deal with that counter attack?
    Mage: use teleport or ice snake to buy you time, if you lost some health, then heal
    Assassin: spin attack to immobilize your enemy then vanish
    Warrior: Charge to the enemy, it deals damage and lets you escape
    Archer: Use leap (tier 3) to let you escape on a ledge, dont worry this doesnt really count as camping since a shamen can use root frenzy to grab the archer or to latch onto the ledge. Or just bait them out

    What i like about it now (base stats)
    -Range is high, defence is low
    -Spells are stronger to combat melee enemies
    -People wont get confused by the mobility spell
    -Moderate damage, low defence to combat enemies

    Things i dont like (Base stats)
    -still thinking....

    Suggestions:
    -make weapons slow or moderate speed, i heavily suggest moderate speed since mana cost is already high

    The class seems kinda balanced for a spell caster, but whats the range for? i thought a shamen was mostly a melee class

    Unlocks:
    -You said that a shamen could be unlocked of having a total of 120 levels and VIP+, yet the players would already have access to alchemist. Change VIP+ to VIP for the requirements

    Quite a lot of changes have been made, so please give them a review!
    Totem Call can now summon 3 spirits from the start!
    Root Frenzy now becomes a mobility spell at its first upgrade!
    Will-O-Wisp is now much more potent, and guarantees damage if used right!
    Rain Dance has been balanced to fit the Shaman's matchups more appropriately!
    You no longer need 120 total levels to access the Shaman!

    Also, is anyone here really amazing at command blocks?
    I'm thinking about making a video to demonstrate how the Shaman's attacks work.
    Credit will be given where credit is due.
    I'll even throw in some LEs to sweeten the deal.

    Alright , I saw it
    First,Its wayyyyyyyyy complicated that it would take me a month to code via command blocks
    Second, some of the stuff mentionned is not possible to do with command blocks like the normal melee attack that hits mobs in 90°
    I'm saying its possible make besides the stuff I mentioned but it will take a LOT of time ( 1 month , 5 hours daily)
    The brawler class I made took me 2 weeks
    Bird class took me 3 days ( too ez )
    But shaman ... :/

    I hope no one mentioned it before(gotta read 8 pages? Hell no!)

    You said shaman can cast Shot by simply Right click
    But one of your spell already used Right Right Right. So spamming isn't possible.
    Intended? Or something that has not think about?

    Edit:
    Wait NO what's wrong with me.

    I mean the long and short range attack are both left click, so how to determine if the player wants to use short range(rent) or long range(shot)?

    It uses both at once, though the Shot should have a bit of delay after the Rend.
    Either way, I'm thinking about rebalancing the damage percentages for both, since Rend can attack multiple enemies at once, and Shot can only attack one enemy at a time.

    It would be nice for the phoinex spell that when it runs out instead of exploding where it finishes it fires and explodes on the closest enemy. But altogether +1 support

    By the way if you lowered the spell stat by one it wouldn't look too OP
