    You know when your playing a different mmorpg that has swarms, you magically go in one, and... oh goodness.. the nostalgia is real ;-;

Anyhow, I thought that we should bring back swarms, but in better detail.

    When the swarm starts:
Swarms will only start when 50+ players are in a town that has zombies around it (Ragni, Detlas, Nesaak, Nemract) (According to the lore, they only happen when the city is filled with humans), and will announce it to the server you are on (WC 1, WC2 ect.). A swarm will only start at night.

The amount of mobs to enter:
The amount should be around 2750 (50 zombies per player)

    The Levels of the mobs:

    Detlas Mobs:

    Lv: 45
    Damage: 37
    Health: 1200
AI: Run at the closest player towards you. Lets say your locked onto someone and suddenly someone hugs you. You are now locked onto whoever hugged you.
Speed: Twice as fast as an average zombie.
    Attack type: Melee
Wearing: Gold Chest, Legs, and boots. Leather cap. Wood sword.

    Ragni Mobs:

    Lv: 20
    Damage: 20
    Health: 420
    AI: Same as Detlas AI
Speed: 3 times faster then an average zombie.
    Attack Type: Melee
Wearing: Leather Cap, Chest, and Boots. Wood Shovel.

    Troms Mobs:

    Lv 55
    Damage: 45
    Health: 1500
    AI: Same as Detlas
Speed: 2 times an average zombie.
    Attack Type: Melee
Wearing: Same as the zombies around Troms.

    Nesaak Mobs:

    Lv45
    Damage: 35
    Health: 750
    AI: Same as Detlas
    Speed: Average Zombie
    Attack Type: Melee
    Wearing: Full iron (including sword).

    Nemract Mobs:

    Lv 25:
    Damage: 25
    Health: 240
    AI: Same as Detlas
Speed: 1.5 times faster then ur average Zombae
    Attack Type: Melee
    Wearing: Full gold.

And... thats it. Tell me if I missed something, feedback is appreciated.

It sounds like it would be near-impossible to make a swarm start. I've never seen 50 players in 1 town before, even during events because there are always unaware people grinding.

I think most of the community wants swarms back though, and the stats page seems to hint to that happening "soon".

There's no ranged mobs which would make it too easy for archers. And a level 100 could easily kill everything in Ragni

The lore says when the cities are bloated, then a swarm happens. This will make swarms rare and fun.

Swarms used to start randomly. There would be an announcement on the server and everyone would shout it or post it on the swarm threads and everyone would head to X city in like 30 mins.

i mean i want swarms, But 1: it would lag, 2: theres no way 50 people will go in 1 city at the same time, because, there are unaware people grinding, low levels who dont even know how to get to the town, new players, people who just dont want to go, people stuck in a quest, people too far away, etc...

I want swarms. But not this system.

Why are the mobs attacking Detlas and Ragni so much higher level than the normal mobs, where as the mobs attacking Nesaak and Troms are about the same level as the normal mobs?
It would be SO difficult to get one to start, there are never 50 players in a city unless it's organized. Higher level players in Gavel wouldn't want to travel across the ocean (even with the V.S.S. Seaskipper) for the possibility of a swarm starting, only to fight mobs that give them no challenge. Lower level players aren't going to go to Nesaak or Troms just to be overpowered by mobs.

If swarms are added back, the old system should be used.

i mean swarms still give alot of exp, and drops, people would go from gavel by using tp scroll or go to detlas threw cinfras with the travel system, and then go there manually.

Nobody's gonna walk from Molten Heights to Cinfras and then from there to Detlas and then walk down to Nesaak and across the Great Bridge to Troms just for the chance of a swarm.
