Okay, so this is a series of quests I've been working on. IT IS NOT FINISHED YET. I will add the quest when I am done with it, and there will be a total of 5 quests. I'm proud to say that I've finally finished it! The reason I decided to make this was to make a quest series with a dynamic NPC. What I mean by that is an person who grows alongside you in your ventures, an NPC that develops over the line of the quests. An NPC who's bound to be more like a player. In this case, he's your rival. I'll happily take any comments on if I have some stats incorrect, if something should be changed, etc. Thanks ^3^

Rival's Promise

Talk to Village Elder in Tree Village at -266 68 -1387

Pre-Quest Dialogue:
Village Elder (1/1): I am in need of your assistance, but you cannot help. Come back when you are level 10.

Starting Dialogue:
Village Elder (1/5): Greetings, young traveller. I’m in need of assistance.
Village Elder (2/5): Recently, Wood Spirits have been attacking our village.
Village Elder (3/5): I managed to locate their source, but we have no fighters to take care of it.
Village Elder (4/5): If you would, see if you can rid us of these spirits. I’ll write down the coordinates for you.
Village Elder (5/5): Also, keep your eyes peeled for another recruit. I sent him earlier, but he hasn’t returned yet.

Enter the Hollow Tree At -191 69 -1423

After entering the Tree, you are teleported to a tunnel under the tree, where you fight your way through a couple of Wood Spirits.

Mobs (Since this is a Lv. 10 quest, there is one type of mob, then the mini-boss)

At the end of the initial tunnel, there is a hole you jump down into, with water at the bottom. Upon landing, you hear:

Another tunnel stretches from where you land, with no mobs. At the end of the tunnel, a room opens up, where you fight the mini-boss. In the room, there is the Corrupted Wood Spirit.

The idea here is a scenario similar to the tutorial, where you free a soldier that helps you fight. You step on the plate, and you hear:

Defeat the Corrupted Wood Spirit

Since you have an extra fighter, I believe this allows the boss to be a *tad* stronger. Upon the Corrupted Wood Spirit’s death, it drops one [Black Seed] and one [Magic Chip Of Wood], along with emeralds and such. ??? says:

??? (1/1): C’mon, let’s get out of here!

On the opposite end of the room from where you entered is a coal teleporter. After you enter it, you appear in a room that’s right below where you entered the tree. ??? is in here as a Quest NPC named Valir.

??? (1/13): Wow, you’re a really good fighter! What’s your name?
Valir (2/13): Great name. Mine is Valir. I’m a new Wynn soldier!
Valir (3/13): Wait, you are too? That’s so cool!
Valir (4/13): Anyways, did you get anything from that monster after it died?
Valir (5/13): A [Black Seed] and a [Magic Chip of Wood]?
Valir (6/13):You should take the [Black Seed] to the Elder. It’ll rest his nerves.
Valir (7/13): Hey, can I see that [Magic Chip of Wood] for a second?
He pulls out his knife and sets to work.
Moments later, he hands you a wooden ring. (+Rival’s Promise)
Valir (8/13): Here you go! It’s a memoir for our adventure!
Valir (9/13): Or really, you saving my butt. Heheh…
Valir (10/13): But I’ll make a promise! Next time we meet, I’ll be stronger!
Valir (11/13): (I will get stronger, for Sis.)
Valir (12/13): Hey, I’ll check for any other Spirits. You should head back to the Elder.
Valir (13/13): Until we meet again, rival!

After this, you climb a ladder in the room that goes above the entrance on the other side of the tree. You can hop out here to go back to the Village Elder.

Village Elder (1/6): You’re back already? And what’s this?
Village Elder (2/6): A Wood Spirit had this? This must be what made them attack. I will destroy it.
Village Elder (3/6): Did you find the boy? He seemed fired up about the task.
Village Elder (4/6): So, you fought off the spirits together. That’s great news.
Village Elder (5/6): Maybe you two could compete. A little rivalry never hurts.
Village Elder (6/6): Anyways, thank you for your help. Take these as a token of appreciation.

Enchanter (1/9): Hey, kid! Yes, you! In that fancy suit of armor!
Enchanter (2/9): I need you to help me out.
Enchanter (3/9): Earlier, I sent another kid to go fetch some magical gems from an abandoned mineshaft down the road.
Enchanter (4/9): It just so happens that Serist was looking over him…
Enchanter (5/9): I’m DOOMED if she finds out i sent him to such a deadly place.
Enchanter (6/9): My task for you is to go retrieve that boy before she notices.
Enchanter (7/9): I’ll give you the coordinates I gave the other boy. That should give you some clues.
Enchanter (8/9): I’ll even pay you handsomely if you can manage this.
Enchanter (9/9): Now go, before Serist notices anything!

There isn’t anything that sticks out to you. You should investigate further.

(The floor breaks beneath you, and you fall a bit before teleporting to “the bottom of the mines”.)

Find a way back up

(You can’t go straight back up. There is a tunnel you must go through that winds upward. Inside are the same mobs from the surface: Corrupted Miners and Moving Minecarts. Partially through the tunnel, you hear:)

??? (1/1): HEEELLLPPP MEEEE!!!

(At the end of the tunnel is a large cavern. In it are two distinct features: Valir, trapped behind a cave-in, and a huge gem deposit on the wall, near the roof. Despite it being high up, you can reach it with a shaft that revolves around the room.)

(When you enter the room:)

Valir (1/5): Who’s there?
Valir (2/5): It’s too dark for me too see anything right now…
Valir (3/5): Just activate the TNT in front of this pile of rocks!
Valir (4/5): That TNT's hooked up to those gems on the wall, so that’s two-in-one!
Valir (5/5): C’mon!! HIT IT ALREADY!!!

Activate the TNT

(When you do so, an explosion occurs, and Valir is free. But not just him. As the explosions travel up the shaft wall and into the gem deposit, you hear a loud roar. As the gem deposit explodes, a Gem Guardian jumps out from behind it.)

Valir (1/1): What the hell IS that thing?

Valir (4/14): Wait…Huh? “Who’s Sis?”
Valir (5/14): Well, she’s my sister, and the reason I came here.
Valir (6/14): She’s trying to change the kingdom where I’m from, but no-one listens to her because she doesn’t have any power there.
Valir (7/14): I told her I’d become the best warrior in Wynn and Gavel, so that she can change our kingdom.
Valir (8/14): I believe in her ideals, but no-one else does.
Valir (9/14): Which is why I MUST get stronger! For Sis!
Valir (10/14): Maybe you’ll share some of your stories?

You fill him in on what happened.
Enchanter (3/5): Interesting. A Guardian protecting the gems…Meh, whatever.
Enchanter (4/5): I guess a deal’s a deal. I’ll do an enchant with this [Infused Gemstone].
Enchanter (5/5): Bring me something of sentimental value to you.

Enchanter (1/7): Good. Now turn around, this gets pretty flashy.

Enchanter (3/7): There. Here’s the ring, fused with the gem.
Enchanter (4/7): The gem enhances magical properties, and is fairly rare in the plains.
Enchanter (5/7): However, there’s plenty of deposits across Wynn, so they’re surprisingly worthless.

Chief Hendar (4/7): I’ve been able to track their source, but I have no-one to check it out.
Chief Hendar (5/7): If you could investigate these tremors, that’d be wonderful.
Chief Hendar (6/7): Here, I’ll write down the coordinates in your journal.
Chief Hendar (7/7): Report to me when you come back.

(If you try to enter the cave before this quest, it’ll say “You can feel tremors emanating from inside. It’s too dangerous to go further.)

Valir (3/4): And now, I get to put them to the test!
Valir (4/4): Let’s have a duel! To decide who’s stronger!

(Here’s the fun part!)
(You’re teleported to a copy of the room you were just in, but Valir is now a hostile mob.)

If you beat Valir:
(You are teleported to a 2nd copy of the room, with a Valir Quest NPC.)

Valir (2/9): I gotta say, that was a great match.
Valir (3/9): Here, take this stone. It fell out of the cavern roof while I was practicing. (+White Stone)
Valir (4/9): I’d give you some cash, but I spent all of mine getting better armor.
Valir (5/9): Huh? Is there something you want to say?
You tell him about the tremors he’s been causing.
Valir (6/9): Ugh, I didn’t realize I was making tremors…
Valir (7/9): Tell the Chief that I’m really sorry, and that I won’t make them any more.
Valir (8/9): I’ll scope out another place to practice.
Valir (9/9): But next time we meet, I’ll win for sure!

(Behind Valir is a coal teleport, which brings you back to the entrance of the cave.)

If Valir beats you:
(You’ll die, and be teleported back to Lusuco, obviously. Now, you go back into the cave, and to the large room where you first talked to Valir.)

Valir (1/): Jeez, I didn’t realize I knocked you out told… sorry.
Valir (2/): But on the bright side, that means I’m the victor!
Valir (3/): I won’t ask you for a prize or anything. That’d be selfish.
Valir (4/): The fact that I won is enough for me!
Valir (5/): Hey, what’s that look on your face? Is there something you want to say?
You tell him about the tremors he’s been causing.
Valir (6/9): Ugh, I didn’t realize I was making tremors…
Valir (7/9): Tell the Chief that I’m really sorry, and that I won’t make them any more.
Valir (8/9): I’ll scope out another place to practice.
Valir (9/9): Until we meet again!

(The key to this is that there are two different Valir NPCs you talk to: One accessible only after winning, and one you must return to after losing. This duel plays it’s part later on.)

Chief Hendar (1/5): Well? Did you find anything?
You tell him about Valir’s practice, and give him his response.
Chief Hendar (2/5): Oh! That means the tremors have stopped, yes?
Chief Hendar (3/5): That’s fortunate. As for this Valir…
Chief Hendar (4/5): I wasn’t aware of him, so there is no need for grudges.

(In a bedroom, there is a Quest NPC named Journal, which is a book you must read.)

Journal (1/4): Yesterday, I received a request from a villager named Nelos.
Journal (2/4): He asked me to investigate a cave north of Cinfras.
Journal (3/4): He reported an evil presence emanating from it, and asked me to kill it.
Journal (4/4): After scouting the cave, the monsters don’t seem very strong…

Check out the cave at -378 -5253

(The mobs inside this cave are the ones found in the area north of Cinfras, such as Arcane Skeletons and Lost Drows)
(The caves travels downward. At the end, there is an abandoned mineshaft, old and weary. Once you step inside:)

(1/1): CRACK
The roof of the cavern falls out… with you underneath.

(You’re teleported to a black room, to imitate being knocked out.)

??? (1/3): Hey…………hear me?
??? (2/3): I’m going………you out of……
??? (3/3): ……hold on a bit longer…

(You’re teleported back into the mineshaft, with a bit of nausea. This time, Valir is there.)
Valir (1/9): Hey… are you okay?
Valir (2/9): That would’ve killed some people… Lucky you.
Valir (3/9): Then again, I shouldn’t be surprised. You always pull through.
Valir (4/9): Hey, what’s that? A drawing? Oh, is it from Fynoba?
Valir (5/9): Heh, he’s been calling me “Mr. Hero” since I saved his sister from monsters.
Valir (6/9): I’ve been helping out in Cinfras recently. There’s a lot more going on than I thought.
Valir (7/9): I’ve even kept a journal in case…I don’t make it back.
Valir (8/9): You never know what’s going to happen in places like this.
Valir (9/9): Moving on… We should find a way out of here.

Find an way out of the mineshaft

(Here, you need to travel through the mineshaft a bit. There are no mobs.)
(Somewhere else in the mineshaft is a puzzle. Here, you have rails you can switch with a button. Your goal is to guide a mine cart from one side of the room to the other. Once you do that, a door will open, with a coal teleporter. After that, you’re in another open room.)

Valir (1/): Great! You found a way out.
Valir (2/): Hey, wait a minute. Do you hear something?
??? (1/1): INTRUDERS!!
Valir (3/): We have company!

(A few Cult Worshippers are in the tunnel as you make your way out. At the end, you press a button that opens a door back outside.)

Talk to Fynoba

Fynoba (1/): Hey! Hey, did you give Mr. Hero my [Drawing]?
Fynoba (2/): You did? Hooray! Thank you!
Fynoba (3/): Here, take these! Mommy said these are to thank you!

Quest 5: Soul Corruption

Talk to Tivep at X Y Z

Pre-Quest Dialogue:
Tivep (1/2): I need your assistance, but not yet. You will get killed in your current state.
Tivep (2/2): Return once you are level 87.

Starting Quest Dialogue:
Tivep (1/4): Greetings, Human. I am in need of assistance.
Tivep (2/4): Recently, a powerful creature has taken residence in a nearby cave.
Tivep (3/4): I would like you to kill it and bring me its head.
Tivep (4/4): I will pay you grandly. Here are the coordinates. Now, off you go!

Enter the cave at X Y Z

(If you try to enter this cave beforehand, chat will say: “An foul presence emanates from here. You can feel death awaiting you.”)
(The cave is empty for a bit before ending at a coal teleporter, which takes you to the Evil Creature. Between the cave entrance and the teleporter, there is an NPC named Narvit.)

Narvit (1/7): Excuse me, but this cave holds a corrupted creature. You should leave.
Narvit (2/7): Wait, are you here to kill it?! H-hold on! Hear me out!
Narvit (3/7): That ‘“thing” is a person that has been corrupted, and had their strength multiplied.
Narvit (4/7): I study such phenomenon, which I refer to as “Soul Corruption”.
Narvit (5/7): It’s also possible to save them. A certain gemstone, found in Wynn, holds a power to purify the soul.
Narvit (6/7): Alas, they are extremely rare. If you have a [White Stone], we can cleanse this person of the corruption.
Narvit (7/7): If not, I’m afraid you must put it out of its suffering. The choice is yours.

Give the [White Stone] to Narvit, or slay the Corrupted Warrior

If you give the [White Stone] to Narvit
Narvit (1/5): Wonderful! This person still has a chance!
Narvit (2/5): I shall perform the purification now!
(A cinema shows. An entity similar to the Night Walker (Not sure if that’s the name, it’s a mob in black armor, near the Nether portal) is in the center of a room of netherrack, soul sand, etc. The portal teleport sound plays, and the blocks in the rooms slowly turn into quartz. The Ender Dragon Death sound plays, and smoke/white star particles fly off of the entity. After the room clears up, a normal NPC stands in a room of quartz. Now, you’re back to talking with Narvit.)
Narvit (3/5): It’s been done! That man has been purified!
Narvit (4/5): You should go talk to him. He may be somewhat dazed.
Narvit (5/5): I’d go with you, but it looks like the tremors caused a cave-in at the entrance.

Go talk to the man

(Now, if you go through the coal teleporter, it brings you to the quartz room with the NPC.)
Valir (1/15): …………
Valir (2/15): h-Huh?

Really great! I love it!
The only thing is that killing the beast gives you almost 2 times the LE, versus saving him. I would make them a bit more even, instead of 5:3 maybe 5:4?
I know it is probably harder to have to kill the beast, but saving him is much more honorable, and besides, you already won a fight with him earlier.
But that's just a small detail. Overall, I think it's amazing!

Okay, so this is a series of quests I've been working on. IT IS NOT FINISHED YET. I will add the quest when I am done with it, and there will be a total of 5 quests. I'm proud to say that I've finally finished it! The reason I decided to make this was to make a quest series with a dynamic NPC. What I mean by that is an person who grows alongside you in your ventures, an NPC that develops over the line of the quests. An NPC who's bound to be more like a player. In this case, he's your rival. I'll happily take any comments on if I have some stats incorrect, if something should be changed, etc. Thanks ^3^

Rival's Promise

Talk to Village Elder in Tree Village at -266 68 -1387

Pre-Quest Dialogue:
Village Elder (1/1): I am in need of your assistance, but you cannot help. Come back when you are level 10.

Starting Dialogue:
Village Elder (1/5): Greetings, young traveller. I’m in need of assistance.
Village Elder (2/5): Recently, Wood Spirits have been attacking our village.
Village Elder (3/5): I managed to locate their source, but we have no fighters to take care of it.
Village Elder (4/5): If you would, see if you can rid us of these spirits. I’ll write down the coordinates for you.
Village Elder (5/5): Also, keep your eyes peeled for another recruit. I sent him earlier, but he hasn’t returned yet.

Enter the Hollow Tree At -191 69 -1423

After entering the Tree, you are teleported to a tunnel under the tree, where you fight your way through a couple of Wood Spirits.

Another tunnel stretches from where you land, with no mobs. At the end of the tunnel, a room opens up, where you fight the mini-boss. In the room, there is the Corrupted Wood Spirit.

Defeat the Corrupted Wood Spirit

Since you have an extra fighter, I believe this allows the boss to be a *tad* stronger. Upon the Corrupted Wood Spirit’s death, it drops one [Black Seed] and one [Magic Chip Of Wood], along with emeralds and such. ??? says:

??? (1/1): C’mon, let’s get out of here!

On the opposite end of the room from where you entered is a coal teleporter. After you enter it, you appear in a room that’s right below where you entered the tree. ??? is in here as a Quest NPC named Valir.

??? (1/13): Wow, you’re a really good fighter! What’s your name?
Valir (2/13): Great name. Mine is Valir. I’m a new Wynn soldier!
Valir (3/13): Wait, you are too? That’s so cool!
Valir (4/13): Anyways, did you get anything from that monster after it died?
Valir (5/13): A [Black Seed] and a [Magic Chip of Wood]?
Valir (6/13):You should take the [Black Seed] to the Elder. It’ll rest his nerves.
Valir (7/13): Hey, can I see that [Magic Chip of Wood] for a second?
He pulls out his knife and sets to work.
Moments later, he hands you a wooden ring. (+Rival’s Promise)
Valir (8/13): Here you go! It’s a memoir for our adventure!
Valir (9/13): Or really, you saving my butt. Heheh…
Valir (10/13): But I’ll make a promise! Next time we meet, I’ll be stronger!
Valir (11/13): (I will get stronger, for Sis.)
Valir (12/13): Hey, I’ll check for any other Spirits. You should head back to the Elder.
Valir (13/13): Until we meet again, rival!

After this, you climb a ladder in the room that goes above the entrance on the other side of the tree. You can hop out here to go back to the Village Elder.

Village Elder (1/6): You’re back already? And what’s this?
Village Elder (2/6): A Wood Spirit had this? This must be what made them attack. I will destroy it.
Village Elder (3/6): Did you find the boy? He seemed fired up about the task.
Village Elder (4/6): So, you fought off the spirits together. That’s great news.
Village Elder (5/6): Maybe you two could compete. A little rivalry never hurts.
Village Elder (6/6): Anyways, thank you for your help. Take these as a token of appreciation.

(You can’t go straight back up. There is a tunnel you must go through that winds upward. Inside are the same mobs from the surface: Corrupted Miners and Moving Minecarts. Partially through the tunnel, you hear:)

??? (1/1): HEEELLLPPP MEEEE!!!

(At the end of the tunnel is a large cavern. In it are two distinct features: Valir, trapped behind a cave-in, and a huge gem deposit on the wall, near the roof. Despite it being high up, you can reach it with a shaft that revolves around the room.)

(When you enter the room:)

Valir (1/5): Who’s there?
Valir (2/5): It’s too dark for me too see anything right now…
Valir (3/5): Just activate the TNT in front of this pile of rocks!
Valir (4/5): That TNT's hooked up to those gems on the wall, so that’s two-in-one!
Valir (5/5): C’mon!! HIT IT ALREADY!!!

(When you do so, an explosion occurs, and Valir is free. But not just him. As the explosions travel up the shaft wall and into the gem deposit, you hear a loud roar. As the gem deposit explodes, a Gem Guardian jumps out from behind it.)

(You’ll die, and be teleported back to Lusuco, obviously. Now, you go back into the cave, and to the large room where you first talked to Valir.)

Valir (2/): But on the bright side, that means I’m the victor!
Valir (3/): I won’t ask you for a prize or anything. That’d be selfish.
Valir (4/): The fact that I won is enough for me!
Valir (5/): Hey, what’s that look on your face? Is there something you want to say?
You tell him about the tremors he’s been causing.
Valir (6/9): Ugh, I didn’t realize I was making tremors…

(The key to this is that there are two different Valir NPCs you talk to: One accessible only after winning, and one you must return to after losing. This duel plays it’s part later on.)

Journal (4/4): After scouting the cave, the monsters don’t seem very strong…

Check out the cave at -378 -5253

(The mobs inside this cave are the ones found in the area north of Cinfras, such as Arcane Skeletons and Lost Drows)
(The caves travels downward. At the end, there is an abandoned mineshaft, old and weary. Once you step inside:)

(1/1): CRACK
The roof of the cavern falls out… with you underneath.

(You’re teleported to a black room, to imitate being knocked out.)

??? (1/3): Hey…………hear me?
??? (2/3): I’m going………you out of……
??? (3/3): ……hold on a bit longer…

(You’re teleported back into the mineshaft, with a bit of nausea. This time, Valir is there.)
Valir (1/9): Hey… are you okay?
Valir (2/9): That would’ve killed some people… Lucky you.
Valir (3/9): Then again, I shouldn’t be surprised. You always pull through.
Valir (4/9): Hey, what’s that? A drawing? Oh, is it from Fynoba?
Valir (5/9): Heh, he’s been calling me “Mr. Hero” since I saved his sister from monsters.
Valir (6/9): I’ve been helping out in Cinfras recently. There’s a lot more going on than I thought.
Valir (7/9): I’ve even kept a journal in case…I don’t make it back.
Valir (8/9): You never know what’s going to happen in places like this.
Valir (9/9): Moving on… We should find a way out of here.

(Here, you need to travel through the mineshaft a bit. There are no mobs.)
(Somewhere else in the mineshaft is a puzzle. Here, you have rails you can switch with a button. Your goal is to guide a mine cart from one side of the room to the other. Once you do that, a door will open, with a coal teleporter. After that, you’re in another open room.)

Enter the cave at X Y Z

(If you try to enter this cave beforehand, chat will say: “An foul presence emanates from here. You can feel death awaiting you.”)
(The cave is empty for a bit before ending at a coal teleporter, which takes you to the Evil Creature. Between the cave entrance and the teleporter, there is an NPC named Narvit.)

Narvit (5/7): It’s also possible to save them. A certain gemstone, found in Wynn, holds a power to purify the soul.
Narvit (6/7): Alas, they are extremely rare. If you have a [White Stone], we can cleanse this person of the corruption.
Narvit (7/7): If not, I’m afraid you must put it out of its suffering. The choice is yours.

Give the [White Stone] to Narvit, or slay the Corrupted Warrior

If you give the [White Stone] to Narvit
Narvit (1/5): Wonderful! This person still has a chance!
Narvit (2/5): I shall perform the purification now!
(A cinema shows. An entity similar to the Night Walker (Not sure if that’s the name, it’s a mob in black armor, near the Nether portal) is in the center of a room of netherrack, soul sand, etc. The portal teleport sound plays, and the blocks in the rooms slowly turn into quartz. The Ender Dragon Death sound plays, and smoke/white star particles fly off of the entity. After the room clears up, a normal NPC stands in a room of quartz. Now, you’re back to talking with Narvit.)
Narvit (3/5): It’s been done! That man has been purified!
Narvit (4/5): You should go talk to him. He may be somewhat dazed.
Narvit (5/5): I’d go with you, but it looks like the tremors caused a cave-in at the entrance.

Go talk to the man

(Now, if you go through the coal teleporter, it brings you to the quartz room with the NPC.)
Valir (1/15): …………
Valir (2/15): h-Huh?
Valir (3/15): I’m…alive?
Valir (4/15): Wait…W-Who’s there?
Valir (5/15): You…did you save me?
Valir (6/15): You did……I-I can’t tell you how much that means to me.
Valir (7/15): After you escaped from that cave, those Worshippers knocked me out.
Valir (8/15): When I regained consciousness, I felt…dead. I wasn’t in control of my body.
Valir (9/15): All I felt was excruciating pain…I thought I had died…
Valir (10/15): Thank you. You’ve saved my life time over time again. I could never repay you…
Valir (11/15): After this, I’m just happy to be alive.
Valir (12/15): Here, take this. It’s the least I could give you.
Valir (13/15): I think I’m going to retire as a soldier. This is too much for me.
Valir (14/15): Please, carry on for the both of us.
Valir (15/15): I’ll never forget our “rivalry”.

It would have been cool to have the starting ring be the same item you have all through the questline, just after each quest it gets upgraded as you accumulate memories and adventures.

Honestly, I think the route where you have to free Valir from his misery is really touching, and the fact that the other route is just "oh hey you saved him wew" kinda ruins the effect.

Maybe you should have to face him, no matter the cost, and if you use the Light Stone, you might be able to save Valir.

I like this idea. The notion of an NPC you can connect with on a deeper level really increases your immersion into the whole experience.

One thing I would like to mention, though, is that Valir drops the whole of his sister's subplot at the end of the quest if you save him.

It'd be nice if, in the good ending, Valir says something about going back home to help his sister. In the bad ending, it'd be nice if there was a part where his sister comes to meet you, and you give her the rival's ring, or something you get off the boss, as a sign of your condolences.

Truth be told, I kinda like Valir. I imagine him being the Wynncraft mascot; an adventurer who is out to explore and grow stronger, and isn't out to save the world.

At first, I was just trying to finish the quests. Now I'm taking a look back, and I plan on revising a bit. I'm currently on mobile, so it won't be immediate, but keep an eye out!

I love the addition of his sister. It really wraps up the whole thing.

Maybe someday, when Fruma gets made, we'll see Valir and Serist again (I'm assuming Valir and Serist are human; if they are not, please forgive me).
