Give Pure Powder Slots

Yea, so Pure is known to be a decent weapon for mages but not hugely necessary in many builds, though it can be used. This would make pure a great legend but the fact that it is a mythic, you know a MYTHIC. This makes Pure quite underwhelming for it isn't a very special weapon and It especially doesn't help how it doesn't have powder slots. Now I'm not really trying to complain here, but I just think that it would be great to give pure powder slots due to the fact that many other mythics or great weapons gets these slots and nerfing pure again wouldn't be right. I think implementing powder slots on pure can make pure very more viable since other weapons gets slots, without slots, pure turns from decent to just PURE trash, especially as a mythic. Thoughts? *I also secretly think that mana steal should be replaced with mana regen as well*

UPDATE: Oh yea and I figured that there is a multiplier for neutral, so pure should also be given a bit of neutral damage, I mean giving it neutral damage wont make it broken anyways, so why not give it powder slots AND a bit of neutral damage, not much, but just enough for multipliers.

Yes, but it is still commonly used in builds, and when it honestly comes to level 65, even ethereal outclasses it (in powders, but it still does depending on the pure), a legendary that is level 70. But even then, it will still be not that great as a level 65 weapon anyways cuz again, no slots personally. This may be a bit controversial I can tell, but again, I am that guy that thinks assassin is quite op in gavel :3

hmmm.... not much people reasoning much on why pure doesn't need powder slots, like why? Its going to not harm anything and despite not being an endgame weapon, weapons pure's levels still has powder slots with legends around pure's level being better than pure in the next update. And pure being mythic... I dont really get it.

 

You know what actually needs slots? Return to Ether.

 

I mean a lot of stuff does tbh taht doesn't have slots. Like pure, alkatraz, and other items without powders, none of those items i listed were at all considered overpowered or really that close and giving them powders will just make them better. I mean every other weapon will slots will most likely get buffed, so why not specifically them? What makes those weapons so special?

 

Alkatraz does NOT need slots! 2000 earth damage does not need improving. Imagine that thing having powder slots... Hell on earth

 

It's level 65 with as much as 520% spell damage, and he's trash talking it because he wants it to be even better? Being restricted to air and water makes pure somewhat counterable, and even then there's still the elements from the spells used, so the pure with slots would be completely overpowered.

No one would say pure would ever be THAT overpowered with slots.... I mean the fact that it doesn't have neutral damage will only give it a slight elemental boost in a couple areas which can still balance pure out and not be overpowered and also which allows it to still compete with other weapons its level that HAS slots. And tbh again, PURE IS A MYTHIC! Mythic is the key word here, not legendary, but mythic. Let me look up the definition at the wiki, "Mythic Items, introduced in the Gavel Update (1.1.4), are the best items available in terms of their damage values and level minimum, and are signified by a dark purple name tag". While we dont need to give pure like 5 powder slots, but 2 powder slots can give pure somewhat enough elemental damage to make it very good, the main reason pure will be unviable in the NEXT update is the fact that it will have severe competition from 60s wands, 70s wands, etc. And those wands aren't even mythics but they get slots. I never honestly know WHY people decided that pure is one of the few weapons that didn't need slots out of the many, and it is especially a mythic...

 

It's the best spell wand in the game, it's better than level 100 wands, so really the low level req just makes it even better because it's an end-game worthy wand at level 60. Yes, a mythic without slots might look weird, but it's still very powerful, and the content team (specifically salted in this case) puts balance first, pure is already more than good enough to be a mythic, it doesn't need anything else.

 

I mean I understand that, Pure is perfectly fine how it is in this update, but it just wont be good in the next where there will be better options, thats kinda the minor issue I have personally.

= Pure would be overpowered because of the +damage from powders.

Yea, or if they really dont want powders on pure, they can just modify the actual damage on pure to be better so it is consistent magic that is used for a specific build, that could also work in the next update.
