World Stop Noteblocks! How About Better Musics In Wynncraft?

I had a cool idea, some days ago...


How about better musics in Wynncraft?


Everyone knows that noteblocks are really cool mechanism to play songs in Minecraft, but they are leggy for some players (myself included), have low BPM and don’t reproduce a music with sameness.

But its possible to change it!!!


There is 3 options for improving the quality of the music,

1. Add the originals music (http://salted.bandcamp.com/album/wynn-ost) to the sounds folder in the resoucepack and when the player log in the server he will receive all the musics. With plugins its possible to run a /playsound command every time that a player joins the server or a region, and when the music ends.
2. The first option have a problem, it will increase the download time at the first time that the player joins. If decided, its possible to send a link for the download of a secondary resoucepack pack just with the musics, that way any player can download and activate on the resorcepacks folder, if he want to. Starting listening the musics normaly.
3. Create a custom player in the official site, like the amazing Noxcrew did in their server (http://music.nox.gs/). a player can put his nick in the website and the musics will stat playing depending the location where he is.

Or you could just listen to the songs from Wynncraft on my youtube channel instead of from mc so they won't lag.

 

I personally feel that it should stay as noteblock music; it seems much more interesting that way, as they had to go through the process of making it within Minecraft.

That's too tedious, automation is the way to go!

i dont know you, but me and a lot other people turned musics off because off their problems. but i realy like songs in games. Wynncraft was one of the firt server to put musics in game!

dont take it seriuosly, i love your musics. but you can still compose then with notblocks, but imagine all the new possibilities that this can bring, faster bps effect, etc

 

Something I forgot to address is that using plugins, Wynncraft already has music with faster or slower tempos, so that isn't an issue.

 

For option 1, takes way too much resource pack space.
For option 2, see above.
For option 3, you still have to make the non-noteblock music, which is harder than noteblock music and will take more time.

 

NUUUUUU. NOTEBLOCKS ARE LOVE, NOTEBLOCKS ARE LIFE!

 

1. There is a command to stop the sound (/stopsound), however, this was added in 1.9.2
2. This will take too much time to load the RP
3. This is a cool idea, like in the hive "block party" game, but I don't feel like keeping the website open just to play the music (could also cause lag)

Noteblocks are cool. They even changed the noise they made with gavel. And the gavel songs are not on the wynn OST with instruments and stuff, meaning that they'll need to remake them :c

Is it just me or can I not hear any of the Wynn music. All I can hear is default minecraft music.

 

I personally love the music on wynncraft. it also helps by letting me know when im laggin as i dont have the greastest internet connection :'(

 

Actually, I talked with Needlr and he said he used Noteblock Studio to make it. It just processed and it was put ingame.

 

I mean how it had to be done using only what Minecraft provided, and nothing too fancy.

 

I love the noteblocks. I would keep them.

 

But...NOTEBLOCKS! Seriously, noteblocks are a nice piece of the server that I would be unhappy without.

Personally, the noteblocks seem like a really cool feature to Wynncraft. People put a lot of great effort into the songs, and they sound great! I see no reason to replace them.
