World Should Detlas Get A Revamp?

Hallo, I am relatively new to the forums, but I've been playing Wynncraft for awhile. (On and off mostly)

I would like to discuss Detlas. For the named "Crown jewel" of Wynn, it is rather insignificant. Besides a few quests, being the players first bank, and the airship system that won't even matter until you get to level 75, It doesn't have much use for mid to late game players, as most people reach Cinfras at levels 60-70 before the airship is even available. The city is also rather small. (Almuj is twice the size!) So small it feels cluttered aside from the market area.

I am aware that if it happens, it will take quite a while, but I would still like to see something happen to the old thing.

 

Detlas has been revamped.

Yes, but 1.12 was 2 years ago. It wasn't that big a change either, it was just changed for organization sakes.

 

@RotDog I didn't say it shouldn't be revamped again. I'm saying it had been. I agree, it was just minor details. Since it's the pinnacle of Wynn still, it'd be nice if it were expanded.

 

It was slightly improved for the Gavel update, and already revamped in the 1.12 update too, but to be honest Detlas doesn't need a revamp, in my eyes, as a builder, I see it good enough not to be revamped, but no one knows what happens next ;)

 

Honestly if it was more complicated it would lose its simplistic appeal.(at least for me.)

The 1.15 has a few revamps.. So maybe ? In my eyes the building style is excellent, maybe if the area around the identifier was a tad bit more open because a lot of players hang there

As old as its getting, it still is the center of trade. It's got the bank, identifier, item buyers, and liquifier. All it needs.

 

Might be true, but giving high level players a reason to be there really seems nice

 

Almuj is meant to be bigger, and Detlas is meant to be this size. It doesn't need a revamp i think

 

People might support your suggestion more if you maybe described with detail what the revamp would look like. I know you probably just want it to increase in size, but would there be more merchants? Just more decorations? Etc...
I like the idea but I want an idea of what it would look like, rather than just saying "Detlas should get a revamp."

 

I think the architecture is fine, but a larger area would be great. Maybe expand into Detlas Suburbs a bit. There could be a garden area and a market expansion specifically for trade between players would be nice, (since it is the trading hub of the game). It should feel like a proper wonder of a city. Like the first time you enter into Llevingar, or the previously mentions Almuj. There's just not much to explore in Detlas. The airship bay could also be expanded upon. Right now it's just an old man with an air balloon. Comparing to Cinfras' huge Loading bay, Wynn's is pretty much non existent. Unless Wynn is known as a lesser or smaller province, (Which I highly doubt is the case) The size makes little sense. That's my idea for it at least.

 

I feel like the few houses near the airbase should be removed and replaced with more room for player trade, since it's supposed to be the hub city of the game.

 

Well you could always download detlas and tweak it yourself a bit to see if there is anything you can do to open it up a bit then post it back here
