Heart Of Iron Ii Reward

I completed the Heart of Iron II quest a few minutes ago. I had alredy been offered the bribe not to inform Detective Hart, but I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to so. So I turned arround and opened my quest book, which made me accept the bribe by accident. I am aware of the no refunds policy so I'm getting to see the Greaves of Honor anytime soon.
I was careless, yes, but I had no way to know that this quest had 2 alternate endings.
My suggestion is very simple. If the player happens to click the Dr. (on purpouse or by accident) he recieves a warning telling him that he can inform Detective Hart and recieve a different award.

Or you can /hub to stop the dialouge and go talk to the detective

 

The problem is I had no idea I was about to recieve a reward. Also, since it's one line of dialogue I got my reward almost instantly.

 

if it's one line, that's pretty impossible when you're looking in your questbook

 

to be honest, i dont think it should be the same NPC. maybe you talk to his assistant to get the greaves of shame

 

I think everyone here just sucks at turning in quests. It's your fault for right clicking the npc.

can you say Iron Heart II instead? For some reason "Heart of Iron li" triggers my phobia.

 

You don't quite get it. I turned arrounf after the dialogue and opened the quest book but the game made me turn in the quest. Also, how was I supposed to know that was the end of the quest?

 

Actually, you didn't need to even open it because Dr. Urelix tells you what to do in his dialogue.

Dr. Urelix: Look at me! I'm rambling! I must have been down here alone for quite some time! Well, not alone, but not with any company that converses! I shall make you a deal.
Dr. Urelix: I will give you a substantial amount of emeralds and a piece of quality iron armour in return for your silence on my little operation here.
Dr. Urelix: I advise you take my deal, the consequences of reporting this to the authorities will be most severe. I produce the protective machinery that guards half of your home province!
Dr. Urelix: Without them you'd be struggling under the weight of the undead, think about that for a second. Is what I'm doing really that bad, sacrifice a few to save thousands? And make a pocket full of emeralds at the same time.
Dr. Urelix: I'll give you some time to consider my proposition. Speak to me again if you wish to take up my offer, otherwise get out of here and don’t return.

Either report him to Detective Hart or be bribed by him. I'm not sure why people didn't get this at first. And no, I reported the factory when I first did it, not looked at the Quest Book. It was also pretty obvious that it was the ending, to me at least, even though I didn't check the Wiki nor looked at any guides on the quest.

 

I wasn't expecting there to be an alternate ending. As I said, I thought that bribe thing wad filler, so I checked the book and derp.

 

at lvl 58 i feel you shouldve realized how big the hitboxes are for npcs

 

I think it was @Selvut283 who told us they FIXED the size of his hitbox...
I guess it's still not fixed.

 

The guy's hitbox needs to be smaller.

 

I understand this actually. What the problem is is that the npc's hitboxe is abnormally large so next time I reccommend that you walk away from him about ten blocks then do stuff before you click on abything

 

Yes I know that, but it was an accident, and I'm making this sugestion to avoid such accidents

 

Why were you playing Hearts of Iron II? Hearts of Iron IV came out recently. Much better graphics than Hearts of Iron II.

I did the exact same thing, now I'm very paranoid and stand far far away from any ncps when I open the quest book
