World Gavelmas

Ok, so I have an idea. It may not go very far, but it can't hurt to put my idea out there. I was thinking, we don't have too many festive things in Gavel. So even though we had a Santa Quest for Wynn, I thought that it would be interesting to have one for Gavel too. Maybe the build team could find an open space and put this idea there. Anyway, the creators/builders could come up with a more catchy name than "Gavelmas", but I'm just gonna use that name as a variable. You could make "Gavelmas Town" in which it's snowing and there are villagers everywhere. But just like the Almuj bank, you can only access all of Gavelmas Town once you finish the quest. One of my ideas for the loot chests there is kinda like presents. When you open the chests though, there are only emeralds, because what villager parents... I mean Villager Santa, doesn't give little baby villagers emeralds.​

Moving on to another idea I have for "Gavelmas" is the quest. How I envision the quest, (Which I don't know if my creativity is that good) is that there is a guy, let's just call him Phil for right now, and he's like, "Thank goodness you're here!" and like he rambles on about how all of the villagers are complaining about the fact that someone stole all of the "Gavelmas" presents. Anyway, he goes on a little more and then he says, "I think I might know who stole them" and he has you search for a nearby mountain. He tells you a corrupt villager lives up there. He wants you to go talk to him and see if the villager has the emeralds. You go up the mountain and stumble into a cave where you find a green man, with a (you guessed it) Grinch head. Now I don't know if you guys could find one but that would be cool... But then again, this is all just in my head.​

Moving on, he says he has the emeralds but he is a big baby and won't surrender them. You have to go back and talk to Phil, he says that he wants you to bribe the Grinch (Or a more "Gavelly" name for him) with a sentimental piece. Phil has you find a house somewhere in "Gavelmas Town", he doesn't quite remember where the Grinch lived when he was a kid. Anyway he says if you can find the secret entrance to the house's basement, there is a "Razor" (Which I think should be shears) that you need to take to the Grinch. Once you do, the Grinch gets infuriated by this "Razor", and kicks you out of the cave. You go back to Phil, and he realizes that he unconsciously was bullying the "Grinch" and had made the "Grinch" angrier. Phil says to "try and talk to the "Grinch" to try and apologize", so you head back up the mountain and enter the cave. When you talk to the "Grinch", He's all like "what do you want!?". Then he goes on and says, "Oh you've come to say you're sorry" then he goes on about how he hated the villagers because they bullied him and that's why he hates "Gavelmas" and lives up in his cave all by himself.​

His last bit of speech goes like, "If you could make me feel included and bring me "1 Gavelmas Roast Beast", then I will return the emeralds". You then head back down the mountain and tell Phil about the Grinch's demands. Phil agrees and apologizes for bullying the "Grinch" when they were little. You receive a cooked rabbit or chicken named "Gavelmas Roast Beast". You head back up the mountain one last time and give the "Grinch" the "Gavelmas Roast Beast" and he gives you 32 LE but it's named "Gavelmas Emeralds" and then you can say bye bye to that mountain because you don't have to travel up and down it over and over again anymore. Anyway, you take the 32 LE to Phil and he congratulates you.​

He says, "Thank you for saving Gavelmas, take these as a token of our appreciation". He then gives you 32 EB and red dyed boots called "Gavelmas Stockings". And that's when the quest is completed and you now have access to all of Gavelmas Town. This is my idea for a Christmas themed quest for gavel. I don't have an idea on what level this quest should be, but that's where you guys come in, right? But like I said earlier. You guys might not do this, but I'm just putting it out there just in case you guys do think this is a good idea. That just about wraps this idea up. While it would be interesting to have a festive event of sorts in Gavel, Christmas is called "Craftmas" in Wynncraft according to the quest "Craftmas Chaos".

And, to me, I think Craftmas in Gavel would probably be something as a peace festival of sorts between the Villagers, Elves, and Dwarves. (if the Gavel lore allows this, that is)

 

Yeah, I like your idea too. I was just thinking making it into like a Grinch sorta thing. Like they have Sherk in the swampy areas of Gavel.

For indentations, just press tab on your computer or space 5 times. As for the color of the text, highlight the text u want to color, then go to the top of the text box, and click on the A, then whatever color u want.
